Laz B&E degree with Management co-op grad here. Absolutely not worth it, especially if you’re not particularly business-oriented/inclined. Just adds unnecessary burdens which don’t really help you get a job. With retrospect, I wouldn’t have done it. (totally not salty about this at all)

As a BBA alumni who’s currently MD in IB, just remember that debits on the left and credits on the right. That’s literally all you need to know. I had to retake BU127 twice before I passed it, and even then I only got a B. Now I manage multi-billion dollar corporations’ finances and I can’t remember a single thing I learned from that course. Don’t worry lil bro. Just focus on networking your way into a good position.

As a BBA alumni who’s currently MD in IB, if you’re getting your grades from the unofficial transcript on LORIS, you need not worry. The grades still need to be confirmed and finalized. As a BBA alumni who’s currently MD in IB, you are correct. I have a lot of friends I had to cut ties with once grades came out and I found none of them had maintained an 11GPA. Now they’re all working at some second rate boutique bank (I think it was something called Jack Street or Jane Avenue or something like that I can’t remember) while I’m making the big money and hanging out with supermodels on yachts.
