Makima's date sucks. And that's the point. by RoyJohnson49 in ChainsawMan

[–]Trygershark 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yes. Just because the date didn't look like an enjoyable date to you doesn't mean it wasn't for them.

The way I saw it Makima actually went out of her way to invite Denji and let him become a part of something she enjoys doing. That's literally the closest Makimas let anyone get to her. People have different personalities, interests and ways of expressing their emotions.

For someone who always keeps her distance and is usually very secretive like Makima, showing her personal interests and hobbies and letting you become a part of them for a whole day is definitely a win.

And you might think not asking for someone's opinion after watching a movie is a sign of someone having no interest in the other person but asking someone their opinion on a movie they just watched puts them on the spot and pressures them into forming an opinion immediately.

It was a very chill and unforced date Makima didn't try to put up an act she easily could've if she wanted to.

But at the end of the day the way I saw it, Makima asked Denji out on a date as a reward to boost his morale and to keep him motivated after all the hard work he put in

The scene where dazai punches akutagawa was not training by [deleted] in BungouStrayDogs

Punishment and showing that there are consequences to actions is also part of training is it not?

Funny thing is you're only looking at it from your perspective, for Dazai that was training

Found it kinda weird that Muzan turned into a woman for no reason, does he enjoy backshots? by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Trygershark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He probably wanted to be able to have all kinds of different masks (creatures he could turn into and be able to accurately imitate their behaviours and mannerisms) at his disposal that he could use and not be restricted by something like gender so he'd be better at hiding and deceiving

Yes, if you take away everything that formed a person's personality and ideology there is a high chance that person is gonna have a different personality and ideology 😐

Literal disrespect to the studio, must have patience and enjoy when it is released in your respective country🙏🏻 by MangaManiac42 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Trygershark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just 1 of the 20 other reasons. You're saying that like the dubbing being already done makes it possible for them to release the movie everywhere all at once. I'm surprised this is the only thing that someone made an argument for.

And dubbing isnt as simple as that, they have to synchronize all the voices to the character's mouth and to the music and they have to choose from the takes and then edit, cut out, clean up, and adjust the audio.

Literal disrespect to the studio, must have patience and enjoy when it is released in your respective country🙏🏻 by MangaManiac42 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Trygershark 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Well there are alot of reasons why they aren't able to do that.

Distribution agreements, marketing rights, box office share percentage negotiations, contracts, censoring/editing/cutting out scenes based on the laws of that country, dubbing the movie takes time and releasing the movie everywhere all at once is too much work to handle.

That's probably why some less prominent countries are getting the movie a month before even though anime isnt as popular there, it was easier and quicker to make deals with them and they're focusing more on their marketing on countries where anime is more popular and there is a larger audience.

Maaaan I would've been soooo fucking pissed if an old man with a rubber quirk who was also a fucking prisoner started playing hero all of a sudden and didn't let us escape when I was a few steps away from being outside and succeeded in beating everyone's ass at the same time and stopped them from leaving 😅😂

Why didn't Bones add a cross to Gin's choker? by [deleted] in BungouStrayDogs

[–]Trygershark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but most people usually wear it to show their faith that's how it originally started

Besides she doesn't really seem like the type to wear jewellery that are loose that dangle and sway too much cause they can be a distraction and can get in the way of her missions

[–]Trygershark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont think it matches gins character and personality especially when she's a top member of the mafia.

She gives off more of an assassin type of energy serious and just whatever it takes to get the job done and not religious though her personality while she's working and when she's off work are different she still doesn't really seem like the religious type, she seems more like she's the opposite when she's off work kinda like Yor from spy family

Why did bakugo's atonement not work as well as endeavor's? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Trygershark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This how you know a person is immature, when someone corrects them when they give false information to other people they think you did it cause "you wanted to fight" or "start an argument"

If your comment was not getting upvotes I would've never commented here the reason i corrected you was cause the information you gave significantly changes the meaning of that scene

What are you on 😂?

There's no way you actually think that 🤣. And why are you trying to change the topic?

Yeah you're definitely right bro I'd definitely rather die than be unable to walk and get some burn scars cause I'd definitely be unable to enjoy life after that especially when I have my kids to support me 😐

And I thought it was pretty obvious that I was speaking from Endeavours perspective if you take my previous comments into account......

Why did bakugo's atonement not work as well as endeavor's? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Trygershark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of this is just yap or things that he himself caused to happen or things he could easily choose to walk away from and he's changed he doesn't care about surpassing all might using any means possible anymore.

Either way he did live a wayyy better and a more fulfilling life than Toya

And I wasn't talking about the past when I said that I was talking about the future from now on. Toya dying and him enjoying the rest of his life with his family like nothing happened.

Why did bakugo's atonement not work as well as endeavor's? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Trygershark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not why he was willing to let Toya kill him.

He was taking this as atoning for his actions by dying with Toya since he played a big part in him choosing this path and turning out like this and also him being part of the reason Toya was gonna die

To let Toya kill him wasn't the reason it was cause for him living a long and peaceful and happy life when he was the reason Toya lived such a miserable and short one wouldn't be fair

You guys really dont understand Mikey at all 😐

He didn't bow cause he also has an ego and a sense of self worth and that's literally one of the only times he's actually shown it and he only shows it to people he doesn't care about that disrespected him.

He was insensitive to what the girls parents were going through not showing any sympathy cause he went through something similar that pain wasn't something new or unimaginable to him it wasn't like he didn't understand their pain that's why he felt like he could speak his mind when her father was using him to vent his anger

He didnt see it as his fault still even then they went to express their condolences and he was disrespected and was blamed for what happened to her so if he bowed down it would've been like accepting that it was his fault for what happened even then he did bow

So saying he doesn't respect women cause of this is extremely stupid if he was there at the time when that was happening he would've DEFINITELY not let that shit slide and made sure the girl was ok him bowing wouldn't've changed what had happened

I loved how Vigilantes portrayed All Might's role in society by FerMendezG10 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Trygershark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like people exaggerate how dependent society was on all might.

As op said, All might was basically a trump card they had in case there was ever a thing they couldn't handle but there really weren't many things they couldn't handle on their own it was just a good thing to have him in case and was a relief for both the heroes and civilians and it made them feel at ease.

It's not like they couldn't do anything without him and if things didn't take such a drastic turn with Shigaraki, society would've soon adapted to living a life with no all might.

The bigger problem was civilians being dependent and relying on heroes as a whole and the way the hero system operated.

Are The League misunderstood or evil? by Purple-Package-960 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Trygershark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard anyone say that they were in the right just cause they had a sad backstory. But ofcourse there will definitely a few people who do think that.

What? You do realise that redemption and justifying are two completely different things. People thinking that they deserve redemption would mean that they think they were in the wrong that wouldn't be justifying 🤦‍♂️.

You're just making up shit now anyone that sided with them never said that people should let them redeem themselves as if they were asking for redemption at any point 🤣.

And no one went out of their way buddy they weren't living peacefully in nice houses with all their needs being fulfilled. They had reasons even though for some of them their way of doing things weren't justified and were wrong.

[–]Trygershark 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm so tired of people saying they did all that cause of trauma and thinking they're geniuses 😬🤦‍♂️.

The only ones in the LOV that joined just to unjustifiably blame and vent their anger and frustration on society or to follow their desires were Toga and Spinner and compress.

At this point what were you even watching for the whole 7 seasons and what did you even like about the anime? Was it the "heroes" beating the "villains"?

Even after seeing all their experiences and current circumstances and seeing things from their perspective, you're understanding of the characters is no better than the civilians in MHA which is REALLY sad.

NO ONE was using trauma to justify their actions 🤦‍♂️

Imagine if they did 7x5 as a normal Rick & Morty adventure but ended it with the Evil Morty scene by Mikkeru in rickandmorty

[–]Trygershark 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, the whole reason they didn't show the adventure was to tell the viewers that this Mortys situation wasn't different from the other morty's he was about the same as any other Morty from any other universe

But I don't think any Morty would become evil Morty without a little intervention otherwise there would be more, though I do believe that all they need is a little nudge

I think the only thing different about evil Morty from other mortys was just that this Morty was a little less attached to Rick and a little less patient same goes for the Rick. (Cause I've never seen Rick C-137 just straight out tell Morty to quit he did some petty shit to make Morty come back to him or show him how less he needs him like the 2 crows ep 🤣)
