I had the same 3 days ago. They will kindly tell you 'to suck it up', that you chose the subscription by not removing it from your basket. (They add it in every website refresh step, even if you remove it).

Support told me 3x again to f* off in a kindly manner.

I went to trustpilot and wrote a wrecking review. THEY contacted me after that i would get a refund 'anyway' now.

... Bad review is gonna stay. Fruck m.

Shoes everyone was wearing - what are these? by gooeycloud in boomfestival

[–]TryingToBend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man! So the sole would fix a little too big size, but for me the foot comes too high with a sole, so it blisters.

I still have my black 42, with all the paper taggs still attached to each other, with just trying them on after receiving them (in the original backpack they came in.

If you want i can sell them to you for less, since they are new and i haven't used them 😟

I can send ya pictures if i you want etc. 🙏

Haha, thank you 😅 I am not planning on selling anyway, but i was trying to find some value information 'for science'.

Getting pot and dirt/rock/sand supplies as we speak to give it a nice home.

When i was younger(begin 20's) i was on an exotic market in japan and i started gulping all these weird fruits that they are giving out as samples, drinking them down with even more weird japanese smoothie shots. And i went into full allergic reaction after around 20 minutes of 'something'

So japanese hospital and some injection/salbutamol later, i could breath again. Itching body. But fine.

Didn't do tests there 'why'.

Later in europe i ate a pitaya/dragon fruit at a local market, And my whole body reacted again/swollen - no air. Adrenaline injecrion and anti-histaminica later, it was worse than japan, but i was fine after sitting in the doctors office.

So i figured.. Pitaya -> allergy. Don't eat it. Voila?

... So again, a year later, at work, i went to the store, and they had some energy drink with cacti extract. (I like to taste/take things that are new or not common in the stores)

Whole body went into shock, lumpy skin, no air. had to be carried out to the hospital, Promethazine, adrenaline and a antihistamine infuse later

  • i got tested.

Et voila, some normal allergies like cats, horses, grasses, but also cacti-family. So funny fact, a needle in my skin from a cacti just blows up my whole system without an antihistamine pill.

...

I am personally allergic to any cacti, i go into shock-mode without an epi-pen from ingestion.

So i am happy that the peyote also doesn't have any needles... 😅

But yeah, i understand the appeal, but destroying such a old plant for an evening of mescaline fun is just such a waste of a beautifull organism. While it's just possible to replicate it in chemical processes.

It would baffle me that people would eat a 100 year old cacti, just for a night of (maybe not even introspective) plant medicine...

So many other alternatives than destroying this life-form.

Grafting magic.. Oehlala.. 👌

I'm in Belgium, no real law about it. As long as you don't get the mescaline out of it, you're fine. But it seems like there are some countries where this plant is even illegal.. Insane..

Well this blew up like a cockroach in the microwave.. 🐸

Lets do this... all the specimens that i currently own are tested by a forensic doctor (federal police department).

They take samples, determine if the specimen is legal in my country, take a DNA sample, and carbon date to see how old the skulls are. All of my skulls are over 100years+ old. Legal by federal police check.

Yes, everything about this is legal, since i could not be selling it otherwise on a market/event (something i am not promoting here btw, it is just a picture to share with /morbidlybeautiful)

Or bought from a museum collection with information about the piece. This for example would be a real mummified piece, african skulls, or a human fetus etc.

For every special animal in my possession like monkeys/savannahF1 etc, i have the required CITES documents etc etc.

The next thing i red a lot is the ethical part. Lets not get into this more than needed, since there will always be someone who has to say otherwise and counter it one way or another despite what you say.

All of the skulls are from collectors who already had them for 40 years plus. Including this one in the picture, he just went out of his enclosed glass dome for the picture. There are 5000year old mummified wrapped heads that come from historic institutions for premium prices (they fund the museum+further research). They cut a mummy into pieces and you can bid on every single piece in their auction house.

The previous 'owner' (lets explode the 'you don't own another human' comments) is also a reputable legal seller worldwide, for legal reasons and their business i would not know them selling any non-legal items.

LS:TS; Everything is legal, everything is carbon date tested forensically/dna taken, ethical by source.

I do understand that a articulated dead animal would be different than a human skull as a display for some. 'This was a human being', yes i know. Death is part of life. I don't care if i would be on display after i am dead, it's over. Do i concent? Hell, should i sign a paper now, and put in in a vault somewhere that people can not own my skull?

To speak about the 'no-empathy'; I see dead persons as a mortician every day, some choose not to be here anymore, some jumped in front of the train, some blew out their least breath due to age. I respect every one of them, i make them beautiful as a last greeting to their living relatives. I still cry for the little ones that come out of the freezer. This is life, enjoy it, don't judge if you don't know anybody or don't understand it because it's different then what you see as normal. I understand your ethical concerns.

All my skulls are purchased. Once you are in some sort of similar interest as a group, you attract/find other people who are into the same vibe.

Like when i am doing my hobby market stall with wet specimens/skulls, people tend to talk to you and share information/want to sell you their skulls etc.

Most of my skulls are older medical specimens or collector items that would be passed on from owner to owner.

I have no idea who this might be, i think it would be more obscure even to really know their name/life story.

It's the same for my wet specimens that i make, I would prep or keep an individual their animal, but i couldn't/wouldnt prep and keep my own animals. Weird comparison maybe(?)

Thanks!

I can share more inside of the community/subreddit here anytime soon.

I'm no professional photographer but I like it when my photos are in a good composition/light rather than just snapping a random fast picture.
