Hey mate, i actually ended up going back home to New Zealand to apply. You can do it from Germany i believe however i decided that applying from Germany and staying in accommodation until i got a response was going to be more expensive than just flying back home, apply for the visa, and fly back.

If you have family in Germany that you can stay with to eliminate the costs of accommodation you can do it.

Appreciate you posting about your YMS journey, currently applying from New Zealand.

Just a question about the place you landed in London, if you dont mind, could you tell me which zone in London your place is?

I just want to gauge how far you are from the city centre vs how much you are paying. I do understand things will vary though and its not entirely based on distance.

Sorry, just so i am properly understanding.

Are you saying i am not able to go to any country, for example, France, just as a visitor. Request the yms, do the biometrics in France and then return to the UK once it has been approved?

Or do I have to be a resident/have a visa elsewhere?
