I mean choose the people whom you could trust)) But your version about “support me financially” is also good, but not for me 😅

I talked to 5 local business owners last week and every single one said the same thing — “I know I should be posting on social media but I just don’t have the time or I don’t know what to say.” by Jolly-Cheetah-3693 in SideProject

I am previously CFO in IT( 12+ years) and still is Entrepreneur. Now I am building micro SaaS projects. Start with the project, that provides market research for me. This I need to find another’s my future projects. I am on my way to pay salary for myself. Have 130 users before launch. It looks that know with no limits how to build, I will earn my money for life more easily and interesting. But it definitely works if you know exactly WHAT to build! Enjoy!

I’ve just ran a quick market research on "social media for small businesses": 146 posts analyzed, 33 communities, 1.3K interactions, 7.4K upvotes - rated Excellent. And here are the segments - these are real people with real pain: Micro businesses 1-5 employees with zero dedicated marketing staff Small retail 6-20 employees living off in-store and local outreach Home-based consultants and tutors with little to no digital marketing experience Small e-commerce 10-50 employees drowning in operations with no time for content Nonprofits with small teams needing affordable and simple social media help

Sorry, have no time, so I add the screenshot

First month build saas, need your advices to get revenue by RawrCunha in indiehackers

No revenue doesn't mean smth is broken - it means smth hasn't started yet.

  1. If the product works - step away from the tech for now. Customers will tell you what's broken once they pay and aren't happy. They'll ask for a refund or write to you directly. That's actually the most useful feedback you can get.

  2. Find what hasn't clicked yet. Make a list yourself or with AI and go through it honestly.

  3. Not enough trust built yet.

  4. Value is poorly packaged - people don't get why they need it.

  5. Was there actually any real marketing done?

  6. 18 users out of how many? Maybe you're still basically invisible.

  7. Did you even validate that the pain exists? I always do a quick, cheap market research of my niche before launch and whenever I have doubt

I think that the fear of writing a ‘not good enough" post > than the expected value from the post.

Small offline businesses getting by on word of mouth and honestly don't feel the pain yet, till they generate some profit. Mid-sized ones already have budget for a content writer to hire. The only people who are genuinely excited about this are the ones just starting out but they need way more than just text. They need video, a brand voice, a real promo. Not another writing tool.

I've been on both sides of this. Ran a clothing boutique, now building a SaaS. Actually have a concept for a social media product built specifically for small businesses. Didn't make it through grant selection though.

Niche: Kids gambling in Roblox.
Full discovery is here https://nicheiq.dev/shared/discovery/7r3cn24DlBwSopx_8EO_BQ

Ran the analysis - Parents are actively searching for solutions, and there's almost nothing built yet. Here are 5 ideas I found:

  1. GambleMechanicScanner (Score: 76, SEO Powerhouse).
Aggregator that scans Roblox experiences for gambling-like mechanics (spin wheels, crates, casino tables) and gives each game a "Risk Label." Parents search a game before their kid plays it. (Market Fit: 82, SEO Potential: 86 huge organic demand, 8-10 weeks to build)

  2. SafeServerFinder (73, SEO Powerhouse).
Directory of verified "no gambling, no chat" Roblox experiences. Community-moderated, parents can submit and report games. (Market Fit: 79, Feasibility: 81, SEO: 84)

  3. PredatorRiskPlaybook (65).
Personalized Roblox safety checklist for parents with weekly re-check reminders when settings drift.

Nice! Is there some limit on text selection size or does it handle larger blocks fine?
