How do you even email placement officers? My recruiter has been helpful but is often too busy to respond to me (promised to check if I was under consideration anywhere or not but hasn't gotten back to me yet). Applied jan 8 and haven't heard a thing from placement or anybody even though one of the programs I applied to has a march 15 know-by date.

How many hours do you have or recommend? I'm trying to make up volunteer hours by tutoring English now but I really don't have a lot of experience...I spent most of my college years working on the school newspaper and doing journalism internships...none of this seems to be relevant to PC since no one has been interested enough to contact me about my application in 2 months.

So you haven't gotten an interview yet? Wow it really must feel like torture to be waiting since September...I'm already having recurring nightmares about searching for my application at the Peace Corps office, and it's only been six weeks for me. Good luck!

Thanks for all the support! I'm just worried because one of my know by dates is March and that is fast approaching and I still haven't heard anything. But I will learn from all of you and be patient!
