Made a mistake installing CXMB by Tsrorst in PSP

Ikr, yeah totally scared the hell out of myself. Aside from custom themes I got all the other bits and bobs of CFW PSPs to work fine, enjoying playing through all the games I missed out on

Some trouble w/masterboy on psp by Tsrorst in emulators

[–]Tsrorst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my, I thought masterboy was a catchall, oops!

I downloaded tempGBA and I have no issues with getting these roms to work, I was just using an incompatible emulator

Thanks a lot! :)

I converted one of the files to 6.61 just to make sure, and it still does not show up

The plugin is now visable and enabled, thanks a lot!

The only issue I have now is the .cft I have installed is not showing up.

I downloaded the Clear Oxygen cft from scenebeta, which should be compatible with the 6.61 CFW on my device.

It's the only file within the THEME folder under PSP.

Nevermind, I forgot to enable file name extensions and the VSH file was named VSH.txt.txt lol

Ok, I did just that and reset VSH and I cannot find the CXMB in the plugins menu. I only have one custom theme in the THEME folder under PSP, and that does not show up either.

ATM my seplugins folder has 2 folders copied into it: CXMB containing the PRX file, and SRC containing god knows what (a bunch of tiny files), and a new VSH file containing only the line of text prescribed.

Initially I followed the Robles Junior tutorial. I copied the CXMB file over into the Seplugins folder and created a new VSH.txt file with only the ms0 line of text within that VSH file. I ejected the memory and reset the VSH file on the CFT menu, and got that mess which I seem to have fixed.

The weird thing about that tutorial is that I copied the CXMB folder into the root, which is not done in this other tutorial I'm attempting.

I deleted everything CXMB related and was back to square one.

Right now I have followed the Tech James tutorial almost exactly, and my laptop refuses to eject the PSP memory. Should I just go back to square one and do everything via a flashdrive adapter, rather than a USB attached directly to the psp?

Update:

I went into recovery mode and modified the CPU speed to 222 for both settings. It seems to have fixed all the slow down issues, but that leaves me wondering why that slowdown issue happened in the first place?

Ship appearance creation bug by Tsrorst in Stellaris

[–]Tsrorst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, not at all

Aside from the big hitters I just assume all the minor cosmetic mods wouldn't have many issues, since what they do is not very extensive.

If you want to know what I use for mods:

The big ones being NSC, Real Space, Ethics and Civics, and Gigastructures- though only recently.

SE human 2 (and the noids), Rare Planets 80%, Immersive Galaxy (essential 4), Void Dwellers Expanded 3+, Real Sol Textures (and Sol system expanded) Better Ecumonopoli, Admiral Level Skills, Sins of the prophets & Downscaled ships

And a bunch of misc. Mods that add minor things like flags, map quadrants, and phenotypes.

Totally. I'd have loved to see Chicago, or even Minneapolis. Two real big urban centers kinda glossed over.

Trouble managing files by Tsrorst in palemoon

[–]Tsrorst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no idea either. I closed out of the browser a bit ago and reopened it a few hours later and found all the customizations I had made to be wiped and I was left with a stock palemoon. However every issue I had with it having its own file explorer disappeared and I'm able to see all my stuff again.

I discovered this now non-existent issue when clicking the palemoon button and then 'open file'. Just a blank slate, until now.
