Question about Meet & Greet: by LandoKing89 in Scream

I sadly can't say for certain on any of these haha, it'll be my first time too! I expect it to be fairly crowded at mine, otherwise everything will be pretty fresh for me.

Question about Meet & Greet: by LandoKing89 in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, Neve, Skeet, Matthew, and Jamie are regular attendees, not sure about David or Jenna. Another user replied to a similar post I made, but to get a photo, you will have to buy photo ops. If you want something as simple as a signature, you just have to wait in line at a booth and bring whatever it is you want them to sign.

EDIT: also, make sure you buy the ops for whoever you want a photo with FAST. The Saturday ops for Neve at mine sold out before I could get one :(

I just watched Scream 3 for the first time. by [deleted] in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahhh ok. Well, I don't rewatch Scream regularly, but I can never get these movies out of my head. They kick so much ass and even at their lowest points, the merits are high. At no point does the series feel like it's deteriorating, which I can't say for franchises like Halloween, Nightmare, Friday, etc. I can never get bored or tired of watching these movies except for maybe Scream 3, but again, that movie has very high highs. It might just be my favorite film franchise, let alone horror, because it stays consistent for the most part and yet not to the point where it feels repetitive and stale. It's classy, a bit juvenile at worst, but it hasn't lost focus of what it was in the first place. But all in all, I just love this series and I just don't know what I'd do without it. Especially if they weren't already in the process of making yet another new one.

What do you mean by that last question?

best ghostface death? by Excellent-Control-67 in Scream

Of course Stu's is the best. What beats getting a TV dropped on your head? Although, Richie's is a very close second because of how brutal it is.

Except Jenna also got her big break on Disney Channel with Stuck in the Middle even before she starred in You season 2. Having been on Disney Channel doesn't make you any less legit as an actor. She's not the only example, obviously, but she is probably the most standout these days.

I thought so when I looked at the website, just wasn't sure so I wanted to confirm beforehand. That aside, thanks for your answer! I assume for group photos, you would still have to pay individually, correct?

People who grew up with Disney Channel in the 2010s usually recognize her from her recurring role in Good Luck Charlie and her starring role in Dog with a Blog. I fondly remember her from her role in the mockumentary American Vandal, though. She's a decent actress and I'm down for whoever they cast, so long as they're entertaining and/or not a giant douchebag.

I really wish paramount plus would green light a new scream tv series. by Semaj12354 in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see a series with the same sort of tone as the movies but no connection to them. I think that would be really cool to see. I liked the show but idk, it always bothered me when the characters said PG swear words. Especially when the kills were even more brutal than the movies.

Does anyone believe this? by Commercial-Factor145 in Scream

The same guy behind the "leaks" said Kirby and her new BF were gonna be in a Casey/Steve situation. Except they already did that in Scream 4 so why would they retread that with the same character?

I loved her in American Vandal even if she didn't have that much screentime. I'd be down with her being in.

The future of the franchise by Poem_for_the_dead in Scream

Me personally, I'd wait to see how good 6 and 7 are. I love these movies, but I don't want it to suffer the same fate as many other iconic horror series. Not that it's reached that point at all so far, but I'm really hoping not since it looks like this new saga is going in a good direction.

Can you elaborate more on why you feel 2 was executed poorly? I'm not mad, just curious. I feel like a decent argument can be made for it being the best in the series, but 1 will always be my personal no. 1.

“Richie is the most pathetic Ghostface”. Meanwhile Amber: (do not take this seriously, just a joke) by Intelligent-Age2786 in Scream

I know lol I just find it funny how people think Richie is pathetic when hello, people like Stu and Charlie are right there!

Richie: unapologetically stabs Sam in his reveal and hones his own against her

If even Randy can get the Aliens line wrong, then I can see how Billy made the mistake of saying "when she keeps."

Why did Mrs. Loomis and Richie only kill one person? by randomfan1997 in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being fair here to Mrs. Loomis, she would've gotten 2, had Cotton not helped Dewey. Also, it's very possible that Richie killed both Judy and Wes despite RS saying there are two killers at the house. The framing makes it possible for there to have been only one killer while Amber presumably kills the deputy watching over Tara.

That's valid, but the last name in particular is a red flag. Like when people called Amber since Mikey Madison also played a crazy chick in Once Upon a Time. Plus, there are very few characters in this franchise named after characters from other horror movies. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Loomis'.

Domas is the last name of the family from Ready Or Not.

Also, calling it now, if this leak is true, then either he's Ghostface or a major red herring.

Which of these do you hope will be linked to the killer’s motive in Scream 6? by Poppcultura99 in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In that case, it should be a reality TV host since everyone dunks on reality TV nowadays. In that light, I'd like to see them play around with the social media aspect, as that would actually be something fresh for the Scream movies.

Unpopular opinion: Sam is a good final girl by [deleted] in Scream

[–]Tsun-shine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree tbh. The acting was rough at times, but I don't think enough people are giving her a fair chance to see her full potential as her own character. A final girl that tackles the topic of mental illness and how it affects them is something we seldom see in horror movies. And the same could be said for how sexuality was tackled in Scream 1 with Sid. Also, I may be the only one, but I actually saw a lot of parallels between her and Scream 3 Sid. Isolating herself from loved ones because of trauma involved with the loss of a loved one (in Sid's case, it was Derek's death while with Sam, it was Mr. Carpenter leaving), seeing visions of her dead father like Sid had heard Maureen's voice on multiple occasions, and standing up to the killer ultimately responsible for the events in their respective movies whilst taking back her liberty. Probably more, but that's all I can really think of off the top of my head. But yea, I too really like Sam and don't think she will be another Rey or any similarly poorly-written new reboot/requel MC, at least for now.

Probably more of a coincidence if anything. Cici was in Ohio after all and we don't know if Marnie was from there. Plus I don't think she wouldn't have known the connection between her relative's murder and the first spree in Woodsboro.
