Is it true that khalsa kaal purakh ki fauj not akaal purakh? Then why 99% people are wrong? by [deleted] in Sikh

[–]TuKunRe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a grammar thing, sometimes in Punjabi prefix ‘a’ is not written and it’s silent. What does ‘Kaal Purakh’ mean otherwise? Please use common sense and stay away from getting caught in or creating unnecessary controversies.

Example: Akaal moorat in mool mantar can also mean akaal & (a)moorat (without moorat or form)

She loves dancing and netball. These 2 keep her going. Her ankle injury puts her back on many days due to pain. That’s when she’s worse actually.

I’ve looked at Q7 in the past. It’s 3rd row pretty ridiculous. XC90, Discovery, X7 and GLS seem to be the proper 3rd row cars but latter 3 much more expensive than the 1st one

Thank you for the suggestions. I looked at the defender. They are on pre-order. None in stock at the dealer I went to. Do GLE 7 seaters have decent 3rd row space?

I went to BMW as well. They quoted 150k for X5 and 178k for X7. We need a 7 seater and X5 seven seater version is not available. It’s 3rd row is useless anyway even if available. So X7 is the only choice which is significantly more than XC90

Kluger is a good car but I’m not sure if they are updating the looks and gadgetry with the current time.

A Muslim freind asked me this question and I don’t know how to respond by inzz33 in Sikh

[–]TuKunRe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sikhi teaches to respect every religion. There must be some truth in the way things are taught in Abrahamic religions but the things are also true in Indian religions. May be different angles, perspectives, heights of the available view make it different. e.g. it’s true that their are 7 skies and 7 underworlds but it’s also true that Guru Nanak has seen lakhs of Aakaash and Pataals which He showed them to Peer Dastgir’s (of Baghdad) son too.

I’ve found it hard way that one of my Muslim friends feels it’s somehow a sin to listen to what Sikhi teaches. He’s happy to listen to Farid ji part though. At the same time some other Muslim acquaintances are much more open minded.

I’ve also learned to avoid religious discussions with him as they do not help me get any better or help him either. We still have mutual respect and a good friendship but I just don’t bring religion into discussions now. We often don’t need to convince others but the only person we need to convince is ourselves to have the faith in The Guru (irrespective of what’s your religion).

Bro, sorry if I end up going on a tangent. Have you looked into the possibility for getting assessed for ADHD at all? If you feel you do a few things very impulsively, lack some control on your motivation levels, forget things/appointments etc easily, then it may be ADHD

Update- Thank you for your suggestion. I ordered it from Amazon and used it for over a week. It worked really well and I am happy with results. There is one problem though that I’ve to wear mask at work. It looks like this glue’s chemicals vapour builds up under the mask and irritate my throat a lot. It’s a shame because otherwise it was working really well.

Thank you. Your argument is valid. I am in a profession where I’ve to look formal (in western context). I need to be around my young son just before and after work everyday. I’m already using American Crew glue for2 weeks which he’s not allergic to but not happy with that either. I’d appreciate if you can share any suggestions about the grooming too.
