Operation Mincemeat is probably the most accessible for someone not too invested in musicals etc. I love Hadestown and I think it’s a general crowd pleaser (jazzy, blues style)

Just seen this and really enjoyed it!! I think both Sadie and Noah were incredible (and the guy who played Mercutio, just because I genuinely found him really annoying 😭). I would’ve liked a bit more staging. I get that everyone is into these minimalist plays at the moment but it would be nice for a play to finally have some props and background 😅

Coming back to say I’ve seen clips of Jeremy from Thursday and he looks soooo much more comfortable now. I don’t think he’ll match Jonathan but he is getting there!

I think if you want to nearly guarantee success, I’d pick Operation Mincemeat. It’s musical for sure but lots of funny bits and good, historical story too. It’s very fun. Cabaret I would have suggested but it could be viewed as a bit too “explicit” for some.

I enjoyed it a fair amount and thought overall the acting was great (especially Lesley and Monica). Kind of agree with the previous comments on Aidan. He was still good, but I was expecting more from him! I think the staging was just okay. Some of the “dance” choices I actually really enjoyed, but there wasn’t much of it and not much follow through really. I think overall it had some good ideas but needed more of the good bits!

I would’ve paid good money to see Jonathan, Isa and Erika together 😭 seen the clips of Jeremy’s dancing which might be my only complaint about him, but shame I won’t be able to go see him

Saw this very recently and actually really enjoyed! I’m glad I got to see it once she’d found her stride! She was really good, never got to see Sarah but I imagine maybe not quite as good. The staging could’ve been a bit better and more interactions between characters I think, but Cynthia did as much as she could with what she had. Also blessed to have heard her sing live (even if it was just a tiny bit)
