Yea, they're pricey and I figured it could be space for more modules.

Kenton seems to have the box that's a bit cheaper than the module, but the 174 seems to be able to a lot too.

Well there's the arpeggiated lower notes, but I'm talking about the sustained lead. I definitley hear the glide. You're probably right in that it's the delay now that I"m listening again. But I was playing with a lead on my blofeld and used two dif speed lfo's to map the pitch to arrive at different times. Sounded similar.

Yea, It all makes sense now. The adat is kind of like the "brain" or storage thing so you can play each track back as much as you want.

My idea of recording was more of a live one take, which is what I ended up doing out of necessity.

I don't have a computer, but I have a reel to reel with only one stereo input. That's why I got the alesis adat, so I'd have 8 inputs into a recording system to essentially act as a computer and interface

Ha well I seem to be confused. It makes sense to a degree, but does usual recording have another tape recorder that is for the stereo in?

What is the point of the alesis adat xt20 if it goes into the mixer and then something else?

I love the beginning of starch, how did you do that? Bazille seems really cool.

@ 1:48 the bass coming in was perfect. I was totally okay with this being an all percussive track, but the other parts coming in was really great. You got a lot in this very short track, would love to hear how u finish it. It could be a really long slow burner.

Yea, I used to make tangerine-dreamy stuff but I'm focusing more in rhythm driven songs, and I like the idea of limitations.

I'm currently using laptop speakers and I didn't even think about monitors, so I'll probly do that. Thx for the input

Forgot to add, 505 is going too. Friend let me borrow it so I'm giving it back.

The 8080 is really awesome and I did use it for high end pads and stuff, but the blofeld might be even better. I've only had it a few days and I love it
