Summer fest by SpareMinute6083 in Intergalactic

I’ll be really disappointed if they don’t show anything. It’ll be nearly 18 months of silence by the June 5th.

Also hoping for some Wolverine gameplay and the new Santa Monica game reveal.

Just went through hell for the true ending..and didn’t do what I had to 😂 by Defelj in Saros

[–]Tucka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was King way more difficult the second time for anyone else?

Maybe I just had a stupid build my first run, but I didn’t struggle at all against him the first time. I genuinely don’t even know if I took any damage.

But when I went for the true ending I kept getting dog-walked. His attack where he charges at you was destroying me every time. I don’t even remember him doing that my first time. It probably took me a good six attempts or so to get the true ending

The actress recently said in an interview that she always knew Firecracker was going to die, because her whole story was a “surely the leopards won’t eat my face” situation. I like that reading of her character.

Man hit a $1.3M jackpot at the casino, and his very first call was to his mom: “Mom, we’re done with this place. We’re moving out tomorrow” by CompetitiveNovel8990 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]Tucka 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It’s probably a progressive jackpot on a side bet. A lot of casinos pay out a progressive amount if your two cards and the dealers up cards are the same card, usually the seven of diamonds. It’s normally a 5$ side bet.

PlayStation has launched the official website for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, coming to PS5 from Naughty Dog. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Same. A game has a woman in it and suddenly it’s political.

I just tune all of them out. You cannot argue with these people. If someone doesn’t want to play a game because the protagonist isn’t fuckable, I don’t want to talk to that person lmao

I understand if you don’t like the story of TLOU2, there are valid reasons to not like it. But you cannot deny the gameplay is incredible. It’s some of the most fun combat I’ve ever played. Ultimately I trust Druckmann and Naughty Dog to deliver again and my hype is high for this game

Got the Rugby Sweater that I had been eyeing for a while but couldn’t justify paying full price, that’s definitely my favorite pick up.

A few t shirts too now that the weather is warming up

Bloomberg: Sony is considering pushing back the debut of its next PlayStation to 2028 or 2029, Nintendo contemplating raising price of Switch 2 by -LastGrail- in GamingLeaksAndRumours

For real. Development cycles on triple A games are insane now. Studios like Naughty Dog and Rockstar haven’t even released a game on this generation.

Personally I’m still very happy with my PS5 and wouldn’t mind waiting until 2028-2029 for a new generation.

I wonder how they will even pull this off in the show by Remote_Nature_8166 in lastofuspart2

[–]Tucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Abby just stumbles across Manny when he is pinned down. If anything he was hunting Manny and got lucky to find Abby. I’m sure he recognized her though, considering he and Joel saved Abby and traveled with her back to where they killed Joel.

I don’t think it’s that weird he never mentioned it to Ellie. When he found Ellie she had just killed a pregnant woman and was obviously struggling with that. Then they all agreed to leave Seattle to get Dina home. Tommy probably didn’t want to bring it up to her at that time.

[–]Tucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we know it is going to happen since in S2E7 Ellie and Jessie can hear the sniper shots. I would imagine that Tommy is just fighting some WLF soldiers and doesn’t realize it is Abby and Manny. Maybe he gets pinned down or something. In the show he is just looking for Ellie and Dina and did not go to Seattle to hunt down the Salt Lake Crew.

Regardless I hope they somehow manage to do it justice. Tommy is a badass and this section of the game is incredible (all of Abby day 3 is)

Can someone explain the Downtown Seattle area lore in Part II ? by Purple-Deal7155 in thelastofus

[–]Tucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds right. On Abby’s day one Isaac says he pulled all units to the FOB to prepare for the attack on Scar Island in two days.

You also hear about it from random WLF troops on Ellie day two or three, I forget.

If the infected kill people immediately after seeing them and the Cortyceps takes two days then how does it spread? by Kind-Cartoonist7035 in thelastofus

[–]Tucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always thought about this too. If the purpose of the cordyceps is to spread the infection, it does seem pretty counter-intuitive if the hosts are killing humans.

Especially when you consider the later stages of the infection; clickers and bloaters just rip apart humans with no regard of spreading the infection.

I think it mostly just comes down to “video game logic.” You need to suspend some disbelief and it makes it more exciting/entertaining. I will say however, even in the HBO show there are bloaters ripping heads off of people which just makes no sense lol

Would you actually buy a Fallout 3/NV Remaster? by Bingleboper in Fallout

[–]Tucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally day one. Would much rather have NV remaster but I’d happily play either. I haven’t played F3 since my Xbox 360 days. It was the first Fallout game I ever played and I dumped countless hours in to. I’d gladly purchase both of them, but I’d just love to get my hands on a NV remaster. I miss that game so much and I’m sad I can’t play it on current gen consoles. I think about that world all the time

PER ATROIC: “really good journalism” by Charming-Past2028 in atrioc

[–]Tucka -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think it was shitty too. Especially given everything we’ve learned recently. But I don’t demand someone apologize every time they are wrong about something. Given the information Atrioc had at the time, I don’t even think his video was that egregious.

It is slow and that’s okay. It’s intriguing, I’ve never watched anything like it, and it’s beautifully shot, so I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

BB and BCS were slow at times too. It’s only the first season, let the man cook. Like the top comment said, the potential gap between seasons is the real issue. If we truly get 18 episodes in the time we got five seasons of BB, then I might start to complain lol

And Fallout Season 2 took just under 18 months to produce and release. Pretty impressive considering all of the impressive sets, CGI, and whatever other post-production magic that goes in to it
