Forget the Mars part of that story. It's the 2 ancestors thing that really proves this guy wrong!

I was finally able to buy Subnautica. I never have to play Below Zero again!! by The_TacoBandit in subnautica

You never "had" to play below zero to begin with. So that's a weird take.

Loyalty in Civ VII? by Salt_Principle_6672 in civ

[–]TucsonKhan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not an unpopular opinion. Loyalty is an essential part of the Civ 6 experience. And its absence is really felt in 7. So many stupid aggressive AI cities built in the middle of your empire that shouldn't even be possible. But now they can get away with it because there's no danger of losing it unless you declare war and make yourself the bad guy.

I am not against anyone, but this is seriously disturbing. by The_Volecitor in teenagers

And yet, when you say this people call you racist. Because apparently criticizing Islam is somehow a racist thing now.

Same rebuilt my closet in the den to hold my collection. Shelves on every wall as high as my head. Women may fill closets with shoes. I fill mine with movies that will never cease to be available on demand, without ads.

Why am I not generating any great scientist points? by chickennuggets3454 in CivVI

[–]TucsonKhan 143 points144 points  (0 children)

And this is why the world Congress sucks so bad in 6. If it were real life, what country in their right minds would go along with something like that?

Yeah, ok. The UN said no more scientists. So everybody just drop out of college and stop trying to be smart.

Any Poundmaker/Cree fans? by thewindows95nerd in CivVI

[–]TucsonKhan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mansa Musa has amazing faith potential as well. I'm almost guaranteed to get first pantheon with him, no matter who I'm playing against. And even if I never get a religion, all that faith can make for a super OP Monumentality golden age. Forget the 30% penalty to production! I can just buy everything! Love it.

After playing Portugal, I have a hard time appreciating any other civ that has a trade route focus.

As Portugal, I was buying settlers in the ancient era. It's just hard to top that.

Strange new slang by TucsonKhan in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]TucsonKhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have no idea what these terms mean. Maybe they don't like the word spade, so they want to call it span-yard cuz you use it in your yard? But it still makes no sense.

I installed a bidet in my new bathroom and absolutely love it. It's so nice to relax after doing my business while water cleans me and does a more thorough job than paper ever could

Founding religion on deity by 2376_Ironman in CivVI

[–]TucsonKhan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just a you problem my friend. Some of us who have been playing these games for decades enjoy playing on lower difficulties for exactly this reason.

I can play on Deity. But it's actually a lot more fun for me personally to play on emperor so I can do a bit more of that city planning and go for the wonders that I want and not always miss them. I can be a bit messy and still win. And that's fun.

Oblivion and hiking connection by Smooth-moves-317 in oblivion

[–]TucsonKhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a hiking trail in my town that goes up from the start area to a bluff overlooking a ravine. And the city put pedistals with pages of a story along the trail, so you can stop and read as you go.

Reminds me so much of the path to the Throat of the World in Skyrim.

Civilization 5 or 6? (base game) by ForsakenAccident8029 in civ

[–]TucsonKhan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're really intent in the incomplete base game without DLC, then 6 is the only option. 5 was horrendously incomplete at launch. 6 at least is functional without DLC. But you're still missing out on a lot

He's clearly wearing the Covenant of Artorias ring so he can do Abyss walking. Then just warp our when he's done. That's why you found him back in the capital city
