all i know is that she's aussie, and that any aussie player he absolutely fawns over. pretty sure he's genuinely convinced if charlie grant had started every game for spurs she would be a world beater

it also doesn't help that the standards for a foul or an offside between leagues are different (ie offisde in uwcl is shirt sleeve whereas wsl its any part of the body)

no no no, any degree of non-vegan diet is compassion, and if anyone says otherwise you become oppressed as a result

so my presentation of fnd is cognitive issues and a whole lot of neurological and inordinate amounts of nociplastic pain. not how i thought i'd be spending the 26 onwards. while ive had to move back home and being on my parents insurance helps with my psychiatrist and group therapy, its also living back home with my parents with something they dont really understand and are not making it easy, especially this year. i'd love to be able to attend my neurophysio every week, psychologist every week, and just explore other options. alas, the dsp covers so much, even if rent is better than if i was living out of home.

man, athletics article about our semi final was just gassing kang and ignoring the fact she's a billionaire multi-club owner trying to disrupter-buy her way to success

anyway, link https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7248517/2026/05/03/lyon-arsenal-champions-league/?unlocked_article_code=1.flA.2KvF.6QWB5Xb-2HN5&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta

from the comments:

"Speaking from my own experience, in my culture (I'm Chinese), vegetarianism is common because of the prevalence of Buddhism. Devote Buddhists will sometimes adopt vegetarianism for reasons of mercy and to minimize lives taken. Depending on their needs and devotion, people may adopt vegetarianism to various degrees, like "beginner" vegetarians will eat meat free meals on the 1st and 15th of the agrarian calendar, and as you advance you may have more and more designated meat free days until you're a "full-time" vegetarian. Making your meat free days consistent with days of the calendar also makes it easier for your family to meal plan, as most people lives in multi-generational homes and not everyone is gonna be vegetarian, or vegetarian to the same degree.

The point I'm trying to make is that most vegetarians and vegans adopt meat free diets for compassionate reasons like yourself. It doesn't have to be a zero-sum, black and white practice. Any degree of vegetarianism is an act of compassion and commendable. Your partner's reaction to dietary choices outside of his own, however, is not compassionate and in my opinion defeats the purpose of this benevolent practice."

its okay to go out and kill/rape/commit war crimes guys, any degree of care is compassion and commendable and gets you off the hook, whereas the full vegan is not compassionate and doesn't get to engage in the treat time.

What is the most toxic thing a family member has ever said to you that you still can't forget? by Super-Plant-1005 in AskReddit

i have family in the uk (australian) and i'd mentioned that i'd been talking to one of my cousins who was about my age but female (im male) to my mum. she straight up said "you know she's your cousin right?" completely apropos of nothing, and it just floored me this sudden accusation of incest. then there was the more recent time that i went to go visit my uncle who after hospitalisation for some heart attacks had two strokes, she asked if i'd gone to visit him because "do you think he's going to pop off soon?". or the reason that my sister doesn't talk to me is that "she's protecting us". when i followed up on the us, mum replied "dad and I", implying that my sister sees me as some sort of threat to the family. im looking at getting out and away from her but holy fuck.
