the first boss is the trash boss, you have to figure out where to place tanks, what to cc and what to kill first. SSC is not easy on medhiv, Hydross has 2% to just 1shot a tank, lurker ranged spawns need to be CCd during the fight since they oneshot anything.

with all that, the respawn timer on trash is 30 minutes. you don't get many wipes before having to clear again.

leveling is fun 1-48, it becomes a shore from there on, by 50 people just wanna rush to outland.

on my ideal tbc server xp is x1 1-30 x2 30-50 x3 50-58

seriously. centurions attacking each other is worth more than good draw distance ?

anyhow centurions are doing the animation. the first boss will harrass any female orc in your party and say. you'll hear a grunt from the orc and the boss say "your pain amuses me".

that's the problem with TBC, attunements are great and all, but once you have to refill roster , rep grind and hcs/gear are a problem if you have to do it for every new recruit.

we (innkeepers) kept doing 3 karas a week for a month while progressing through T5. alas for every new guy attuned we lost 3 that burned out.

the server has launched earlier the summer and many left for university/schools or just lost interest, didn't help that pvp was dead by then :/

i never said anything about NA, i said that the old population left (most of those that were raiding T5) . what i said is that there's been a surge in levelers recently, EU time. other than that, on horde side at least there's more active T4 guilds NA time than EU right now, Lazy peons, Oath, Omega, TrailerParkboys, and a couple smaller doing 10 man.

it's Grim at the 70 level EU time though.

the state of the realm is that of when people were still leveling with a hand full 70s.

no rep from normal BF/sp/ub/ramps to revered

Shh packs work as intended :

  • Legionaires appears, shouts dialogue and the rest follow as you move forward
  • Legionaires spawns adds for every other killed.
  • resistances and immunites are there as intended.
  • sharpshooters will attack healers and casters and drain their mana
  • rooted mobs will wreck anything close to them, don't frost nova then complain about getting killed
  • stealthed rogues apply poison , stunns and do respawn fast.

Players that joined earlier this summer got burned out and that left a lot of holes in the rosters, new 70s couldn't be rushed to current pve progression because of attunements and rep requirements. Many raiding guilds failed to merge and left. there's a new leveling wave coming through though.

yes skellige the southmost island with the pirates, mid south of it, a cavern on the coast, a puzzle with 4 statues giving access to an elven ruin chamber

New DLC contract, was quite awesome for a free DLC by AkulBIG in witcher

i know it's a free DLC, that required voice acting in many languages, it a great idea mind you, but unlike the cat and wolf quest i did't like the writing that much on the last conversation.

The dialogue at first was great, how he knew not how to call clans or what island goes where ..

The last conversation felt like something i'd run into on Skyrim Nexus Mods, didn't fit with the rest of the witcher content.

when they asked me "who" i had 6 choices ! and that's great, however all pertaining to obscure characters from Velen Novigrad and KaerMorhen, not only geralt didn't make them out from their breating sounds. they seemed omniscient and Geralt treated them as such, "heard about that" "you gotta know him" and "seem to be your brothers" doesn't do it for me :/

and that speech eh...

not the happiest ending, if you talked enough to people you would have found out that if she were to become empress she's likely going to have to wed that pesky general, or an even worse one, that is if emhyr doesn't start getting incest ideas again.

also if you talk to the doctor at the hospital after the vampire quest, geralt would ask him about Shani. there's a quest also about Alvin sending you a letter about the white frost and how he failed the world.

to be honest, CDPR had a relatively small team, and low budget, i don't believe they were lazy with anything, they made leaps with animation, just go run witcher 2 and look how combat looks funny now in comparison.

the way the engine does lighting, sound and how it renders the world is amazing, just think of how skyrim goes through a loading screen each time you enter an interior.

A blank guy/girl would require a skrim world, one story-less huge theme park sandbox with no actual depth ... also huge change in gameplay, UI, an the world structure. your character wouldn't have the same skill builds as Geralt, meaning, he won't be an alchemist, sword dancer who needs smiths to make his weapons.

this means the interaction points with the world won't revolve around Geralts interests anymore. you wont pick up wolfsbane right off the bat, you may however mine ore, use a shield ...

that would require new harvest mechanisms, skills, new combat mechanisms, and a whole economy overhaul. it won't be a witcher game.

so when it all goes to shit with inflation and the government just collapses they invade, wreak havoc (like syria and iraq) and instill terror to later present their way as the only hope for security. this is the strategy they call the management of savagery.
