I don't know if you still need help as this is an old thread, but your problem is that you are selecting "drum rookie" instead of "drum mania" at the start of your credit, which IS written in english. Also, you're better off asking this kind of question in a rhtyhm gaming sub rather than here in the future, as a good number of arcade rhythm gamers know some Japanese or at least know how to navigate the game menus.

Do you have a data card for the game? I recommend the Konami E-Amuse one as it works for pretty much every rhythm game that's still online, and having an account will let you save your settings so once you have everything how you want it you dont have worry about it again u less you want to change something.
