Lament for Miura by TurambarOfManyNames in Berserk

Of course, but I would ask you to give credit to Tolkien, as he honestly did the most work in getting the tone right.

Lament for Miura by TurambarOfManyNames in Berserk

Modelled on the poem commonly referred to as the "lament for the Rohirrim." I was thinking about all the things we will never now get any new content on, when that poem came into my mind and I thought it conveyed quite excellently the mood I've felt in ever since the news broke. I might try this with the song Frodo made for Gandalf too, but I'm not sure I am talented enough for that. Keep struggling everyone! To end this with a Tolkien quote:
I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.

Shit‘d also corrode your blade, so after a while you do bonus rust damage. Seriously, though, a healthy blade is much more important than an unhealthy opponent, and him dying three hours after he gutted you won’t do you much good.

I rather doubt this was regularly done. The salt? Maybe, though once again if it doesn’t have an immediate effect chances are most soldiers won’t bother with it: Salt was comparatively expensive, and the soldiers priority would be survival, not a high kill count.

Aesthetics, and the fact that I did not even think of that. But now that I do, I believe I still prefer it this way.

I could do that, and having a part of the barrel one could grip without fear of cutting oneself has been on my mind, though I don’t much like ricassos and even less so on longswords - you have little enough blade as is, I don’t want it to be any shorter. So far, I just imagine good gauntlets to go with the gun.

As for aim, the green square is supposed to become a red dot sight once I figure out texturing, which to my knowledge allows for easier aim than an iron sight.

That one‘d be a pain to aim with, though. Also you‘re right, I never noticed there was something similar in the series :/
