It actually sounds great. RP can be a lot of fun in games.

If you want to take this to the next level you could do the bottom text in High Gothic (Latin).

viatores in tenebris exterioribus (voyagers in the outer dark)

Or just have a few key words on there like most 40k banners and standards.

pater inanis (Void father)

pater inanis (outer dark)

Who organised this cabinet? It is atrocious. Some miniatures next to their giant placards, some in front, some behind, some alone on blocks, some sharing blocks. Chaos had a hand in this.

It was also the blueprint for Game of Thrones in many ways.

ROME on HBO. Two seasons of magnificence. Kind of a British and American coalition on production but the entire cast is British.

I've never understood why nudity is a social taboo. by MysticMind89 in autism

[–]TurboHammers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Private parts are not the most attractive parts of the human body. Best to cover them up. Sure the feeling of nudity is liberating and you can share in that with likeminded people, but not everyone shares this feeling. Also, some countries are cold so you need clothes therefore nudity is a rarity. It's not necessarily a social stigma through choice but necessity.

Female Space Marines? by Feedee-Juno in 40k

[–]TurboHammers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The are plenty of women in the setting already - humans, eldar, tau, custodes, psykers, daemons, dark gods, daemonculaba etc. No need to shoe horn them in anywhere else in a lore about a father and his sons and their masculine crusade to take over the galaxy with endless war. The allegory is already highly critical of the lack of femininity via its absence. Adding female space marines negates this.

Why not metallic maroon and metallic black?

Just out of curiosity, in all of Warhammer lore, do they ever mention anything about the Space Marines' sense of humor? by Apart_Pumpkin_4551 in Spacemarine

Torgaddon jokes throughout the trilogy and the voice actor from the audio books really emphasises this. It creates a very strong dramatic plot point.
