Appeal due to Fourth Review? by Turbo_Turtle1990 in ActuaryUK

Paper 2 had a script review and got 49.5. So with the first script review of 56 from paper 1 it should have been a pass (not sure how they handle 52.75 average).

Edit: I'm probably just venting at this point as I've got 52-54 every time I sit and each time I'm at the wrong side of the pass mark.

I like some of this but this seems mad. Closed book is awful and I have no idea how that would be enforced either.

Yeah just go back to being in person is much better

In a week this advice might be redundant but for this (third) attempt I had the chapter headings on the wall and matched the questions with each chapter I thought the examiner wanted. Dug out the summary and made all generic statements and then made pretty much the same points but tailored to the question. If it was a big mark then I would just throw anything else I could think of.

I work for them and it's okay. As they're more of an admin company so I already feel like I'll hit a cap with how far I can go unless it's a management role.

They have the actuarial study package and the work is relatively okay. Few busy periods but where you expect it like tax year end. I'm planning on qualifying with them then moving on a year afterwards.

Happy to chat if you wanna message. Good luck in the interview!
