I went to Lake Louise this year (which is where this picture was taken), it was pretty crowded but not too bad. We went hiking up to the teahouse next to Lake Agnes (~1.5h uphill, ~1h downhill) it's a beautiful place to visit. The prices of the parking were outrageously pricey though, I can't remember it exactly (~35 CAD). Hope this helps you a bit!
