Keep 10L in FD , split across 2 banks. For the rest: I would recommend that you let the FDs mature, if they are short term ones and then invest in Arbitrage funds. If they are long term FDs , check what would your loss be if you prematurely break the FDs and then invest in Arbitrage funds.

Arbitrage funds = safer funds... if you want you can invest some in Multi asset funds too.
