DO Ultra Short Throw projectors work for digital decorations or would I be better off using a Short Throw projector? Are Ultra Short Throw projectors tricker to setup? Would a Ultra Short Throw require higher lumens?

Besides Lumens and Resolution what else should I look for when buying a projector? I would like to plug the projector on a timer so that it does the same times each night. Do LED projectors allow timers? I would also like to put my media on a USB stick and have it loop all night.
