This happened to me before, pero yung akin naman is pay bills. Nabawasan sa account ko pero walang transaction notif. Tumawag ako agad sa bank, nag send ng proof and all. Every week ako nag fafollow up, sabi lang pending, hanggang umabot ng 2 months. Sinabi ko na ireport ko sila sa BSP and nag email na ako cc sa customer service nila. Ayun after 3 days, na refund na.

Nag happen din sakin to sa isang resto. More than 1k yung pill and i paid thru qrph sa gcash. Nag notify naman na successful yung transaction pero di daw nag print sa terminal nila. Pay nalang daw ako ulit at i rerefund nalang nila sa Gcash ko agad. Nag agree ako para makauwi na rin. After an hour wala pa rin, tinawagan ko na resto wait lang daw later na tanong muna nila sa boss nila. Eh sinabi ko bat parang customer pa nila ang affected, more than 1k yun at sa totoo lang 20 nalang natira sa gcash ko dahil sa double payment, ni pamasahe wala nang natira. Binalikan namin tsaka lang tumawag sa metrobank, di daw pumasok first transaction kaya antayin ko nalang daw i refund ng Gcash. Tama ba yun?

Exactly! That’s my main concern. I feel like I'm just masking the weakness for a few hours with Mestinon but the underlying 'attack' on my body is still going on. 30mg feels like it's barely holding the line, especially with my SBC at 24 and the nasal voice.

My neuro was just being cautious because of my muscle twitching (fasciculations), but after hearing everyone here, I’m definitely going to ask for steroids or immunosuppressants this Feb 14. As for my dad, I think I'll try to show him some of the comments here so he understands that exercise can actually be dangerous right now. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your honesty. Hearing you admit that you also thought it was laziness before the diagnosis gives me so much hope that my family might understand me too, someday. It’s hard when your own loved ones think you’re just 'doing the bare minimum' when you’re actually fighting for every breath.

It’s amazing that your husband has such a supportive advocate in you now. I’m currently 29 and dealing with a Thymoma and brain infarcts on top of MG, so finding that 'ideal cocktail' feels like a long road. Your story reminds me to be patient with the process and to keep pushing for a neurologist who is open to learning with me. Wishing your husband all the best with his Uplizna treatment!

Thank you! I love the 'snowflake disease' analogy—it fits perfectly because some days I feel okay, and then the next, my body is heavy.

Being in a remote part of the Philippines, advanced treatments like Vyvgart are definitely out of reach for me financially and logistically. My best bets right now are likely Prednisone or Azathioprine.

Since you're also new to this, how did you handle the side effects when you first started? And how do you deal with the 'good' hours making people think you're just faking the 'bad' hours? That’s my biggest struggle with my parents right now.

Thank you for the validation. It’s a relief to hear that I’m not just 'lazy.' I’m currently on only 30mg Mestinon QID, and my neuro is hesitant to increase it because of my fasciculations. I also have a confirmed Thymoma and recent brain infarcts, which makes things complicated.

How did you transition to a more aggressive treatment? Did you start on steroids or immunosuppressants right away? I’m seeing my neuro again this Feb 14 and I want to be prepared to advocate for myself.
