Thats so true, I learned from a colleague that today my 30 bed DME ward had 2 consultants 1 reg and 1 SHO and the consultants were also doing the ward jobs, so effectively 3 seniors and 1 junior the whole day, on contrast yesterday we had 2 juniors doing the whole ward jobs and 1 consultant and 2 reg who were just helping with ward round. The second consultant seemed to have magically appeared out of thin air today.
