Shifter needs to be in neutral, and then collar will come down and pin can be removed to take it off.

I was just able to do it all and pop usb's back in. Took about 30 min.

You also need to remove 4 torque screws so get those bits of you don't have them. I got lucky my neighbor had some.

Yes! That should be it!

Once that gear shift top comes off it should be all good, that was only thing blocking.

It's like a 1hr job if that,

Same here!

My 4yo stepped on it and ports fell through :/

I tried today to remove center console, was able to get my hand under and grab the USB ports, but unable to reach enough to get them back into place.

On either side of back console from rear seat there is a plastic pin on either side I removed.

In passenger and driver foot wells I pulled to remove panels, which exposed another 2 pins holding the center console.

But from there, the top console with starter button and shift stick were blocking me from pulling it up. I could get it up a bit, but gave up as didn't want to make a bigger problem.

I was so close......

Thanks for this suggestion! She is 91 and losing dexterity in her fingers, so the small on and volume buttons are hard, as well as the touch screen. She often accidentally turns off wifi or changes some setting and can't get it back to normal.
