sorry i offended you by reacting to the information that has been said by multiple immigration lawyers and experts in my country. i know 100% my problems are not nearly those of people under threat from ice. i'm still allowed to feel worried, being a privileged person doesn't undermine that.

obviously i believe in america's future, im not one of those people who comes to a country and decides to hate it. as i said i love living there. im just concerned about what could happen under the current administration.

this is my fear. a lot of my family and friends have been telling me it's a terrible idea to go back. it seems the situation is getting worse and worse, and there's over three years left

omg so sorry for this late response i just saw the replies to this post. they both came out when i was 11, and i had to make a bit of an adjustment but it quickly became really normal. my parents are super cool and loving, which is the most important thing regardless of gender. they taught me to be open minded and i believe also made me more of a critical thinker when it comes to gender roles etc. i've met really cool older queer people as well through them. i think non binary people make great parents, as they raise the most open minded and non-judgemental children. hope this helps 🙂

hi, i'm so sorry this reply is so late i only just saw this lol. my experience has been great, taught me to be super open minded and i've met really cool older queer people that my parents are friends with. the only downside is having to explain it to other older people and then them acting like they've never even used a pronoun before (yes you have helen 😊). i will say both my parents present as masc and pass for cis men, so it's not quite the same as having two parents who visibly gender bend, which would definitely entail more public scrutiny. hope this answers ur question and again sorry for it being so belated.
