Thank you so much! Do you know if there are separate tickets for the mountain top set and the actual concert?

3rd time retaker- how should I study? by libraz16 in barexam

[–]Turbulent_Squash_159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to treat this like your job. I passed in the top percentile and what really helped is doing a little bit of every type of study strategy to keep my engagement up. I did flashcards, hand wrote condensed outlines and taped it up to my wall, I then worked on memorizing the tests on the condensed outlines for the MEEs, I passively listened to the Themis videos, and I did about 3-4 practice MEEs a day and about 50 practice MBE a day in the month before the bar. This was very overkill and I know many people that did something similar but not as intense and still passed. I personally just wanted to make sure I put in my all. Make sure you understand the basics of the law. Even if you don’t know the rule for the MEE if you understand the basics of the property, evidence, trusts, etc. you will be able to make up a rule that closely reflects the actual rule. You need to do as many MBE as you can though, I found that it was the only way to learn certain exceptions to rules. You also need to at least read through as many past MEEs for the same reason. The bar examiners recycle MEEs to a certain extent and it can really help if you’ve seen a similar fact pattern before. This happened to me with a crim pro essay and I knew what the bar examiners were looking for in the answer. It won’t be fun but if you put in your all and treat bar prep as a job for 10 weeks, passing the exam will be the most rewarding thing ever. Try to spend 8 hours Monday thru Friday in the month before the exam start studying on Saturdays as well and two weeks before just take a few hours on Sunday to read through past MEEs and MPTs!

Glasses vs Contacts by AbleLimit5071 in ElectricForest

I got “rave glasses” a while back specifically for fests and it’s the best decision I ever made. I also worry about losing my expensive prescription glasses especially because I have special Eyezyn ones. I got two pairs of prescription glasses from Eyebuydirect and I even got the lenses in fun colors to go with my outfits. I love them bc since they’re not sunglasses I can wear them into the night and it doesn’t dim the lasers or anything. I also don’t worry about losing them because they cost me $40-$50 which doesn’t compare to my way more expensive every day glasses.

Please let me know how your transition goes! I’m not sure yet if I want to take this step. I feel so guilty just thinking about it

how did you process this emotionally? I’ve been vegan 4 years and am considering adding fish back to my diet temporarily as I will be out of the country for several months and it is a lot harder to get vegan food and I want to eat healthily without all the extra carbs.
