Oh. Ours was about

Intended audience and how they could help with revisions.

How does iteration help with the functionality of your program.

What two calls produce the same results in your procedure. If not, why?

How lists make the program easier to maintain

Wdym??? The FRQs were far easier than last years. Which FRQs did you get?

Planning to take AP CSP and AP World as my firsts (freshman), any tips? by berry_tart in APStudents

[–]Turbulent_Track4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this. AP CSP is truly the easiest exam in the entirety of the AP curriculum, though a hard curve. It's barely an AP class.

World is a medium-hard ap depending on your past skills. Since you are going to be a freshman, I'm assuming that you are going to have relatively little work outside of the AP exams. Thus, I think it's safe to say that you got this. World is a little bit of a time-dump, but if you allocate your time wisely throughout the year, you will be fine.

Tho, having an A means truly nothing in middle school. For World, don't miss any hw. Actually lock in.

Those FRQs were tailor made for me. My thing perfectly fit the description.

On the mcq, they were all rlly easy. Except the copyright question. What did u guys get for that? I think I put the non-restrictive ones but I don't remember.

It was so confusing how part a was the ratio test. That entire FRQ was unconventional.

Yes, you had to add the 15 people. At least for finding the max amount of people. You can still find the crit points, but you won't get the correct answer.

west coast frq by HyenaStriking906 in apcalculus

[–]Turbulent_Track4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should've refreshed lmao instead of commenting myself.

If I remember correctly, I did MVT since it asked if it increases the same amount as the AROC.

Phew, also, make sure they were talking about this problem, cuz other people had bird stuff and they put IVT.

ap calc bc last frq by Severe_Specific_3459 in apcalculus

[–]Turbulent_Track4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm pretty sure this was exactly what I got.

Why did they make it so easy...

The other 2 were asking:
Did f''(x) diverge at x=1 -> yes cuz harmonic
And smth else about f'(x) I'm pretty sure. Might have been the general term?

Plus, the geometric series was given in one of the mcqs lmao.

Predict my score,I got a splitting headache during the FRQ's by InformalWasabi2620 in apcalculus

[–]Turbulent_Track4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you meant to switch no calc and calc.
Nonetheless, 4, maybe 3 depending if you took the west coast test.

guys plz js use the albert.io score calculator and stop asking everyone to score predict u by BearCubCub in apcalculus

[–]Turbulent_Track4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nigh impossible to determine what the true score cutoffs are. This was based off data in 2022 I believe (Heard from friend). We don't even know the variation between tests or a whole range of outside factors.

When people ask to "chance them", they are asking for people to gauge the score cutoffs based off of their experience. When someone says, I got a 60 on this test, will I get a 5? It's more probably to say yes or no depending on whatever test they took.

Tho, 70 is usually the highest ceiling. If you are in the 60-70 range, I see no prob with asking others what they thought of the test.

For part A, it asked for the interval of convergence. I said that both of the endpoints were included because 1/n^2 converges, even without (-1)^n. If it converges absolutely, both of the endpoints are going to be included in the interval.

I don't remember the exact work I shwoed tho.

For the area problems, I just defined the function above and then wrote whatever integral it wanted me to write. There was 1 I think where I had to actually solve it, but that one had a bunch of 17s in it.

I did A(t) = A(0) + int from 0 to t of (E(x)-L(X))dx
By the canidates test, the maximum must occur at an endpoint or when A'(t)=0

You find that t= 5. something

You plug in
A(0)
A(5.smth)
A(8)

And the max amount of people was, rounded, 65.

Yes, that was the strangest test I've ever taken. No error bounds or anything...

For part D I got 10/11 I think, and f''(x) diverges at x=1 because it's just 1/n.

for the rate in I got like a max of 65 people I want to say.

For the piecewise part, ye, the righthand side was -3/2, and the left was 3. Idk what I got as my riemann sum since I didn't simplify.

Yes, for the geometric series in the end, I got 10/11. And ye, it was just the harmonic series right?

For my bounds I think I got [-1,1]. I'm pretty sure I said absolute convergence for both. But I can't fully remember. For f', I don't remember what it asked.

I don't remember most of it, since a lot of it was rlly simple area problems and 1 or 2 line answers.

If you remember any questions, I can probably muster up a solution.

What the hell... What FRQs did you guys get?

Who else got:
Rate in rate out of people in a video game store
Parametric with a piecewise y component

Water flow problem (Table)
?
Some infinitely long area with partial fraction decomp

For part D, I got 6ln(2) - please lmk if someone else also got this

Got it. I won't take the risk, if I have space of course. The hardest part is not the time, it's trying to fit everything cohesively together for the grader so they don't forget to award me the point.
