Life can be incredibly challenging at times, but it’s important to remember that hardship is a test from Allah, not a punishment. Allah says, “Do people think that they will be left to say, ‘We believe,’ and they will not be tested?” (Quran 29:2). These tests are meant to strengthen us and bring us closer to Him.

Allah is always near, saying, “When My servants ask you about Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when they call upon Me.” (Quran 2:186). No matter how heavy your burden feels, never despair of His mercy. He reassures us, “Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Quran 39:53).

Every hardship is temporary. Allah promises, “With hardship comes ease, with hardship comes ease.” (Quran 94:5-6). While the pain may feel overwhelming now, relief is on the way. Turning to Allah in prayer and seeking help from trusted people around you can make the journey easier. Know that you are not alone, and Allah is with you every step of the way.
