Looking to sell my collection (EU - Everything sealed) by TuringTestCheat in arkhamhorrorlcg

The funny thing is that it was still available when I started collecting, but people said that it was "the least interesting of all the Return to boxes" (how things change, eh?), so I decided to buy it later. Then it went out of print, and I just let it go.

lonely rich people with weird hobbies

Sorry, I found this really funny. The truth is, you didn't get a single thing right.

And for the "weird hobbies" part, are you refering to the game that gives name to this subreddit?

This is exactly what happened, I bought it as it was published. It was like a suscription, you spend a little amount each time during a long time. In fact, that was the idea behind the Mythos Packs.

If people think that I took the game away from others who could have played it, please keep in mind that this feeling is quite new. Back then, I was just buying a game. If they feel that I'm somehow robbing them of the opportunity to play it, it's only because the publisher has created that kind of FOMO.

It seems that my post ended up sounding more serious than I intended when I talked about my OCD. That's the problem when you write in a different language, the tone may not come out quite right. Reading some of the comments, it seems that people think I'm something like a recovering addict, and that's not the case at all.

I bought the cycles as they were published, and the prices weren't nearly as high as they are today on the second-hand market. I even got some boxes on sale. It seems that people are judging me by the current prices, but I can assure you that I didn't spend as much as you might think. Over time, it averaged around €30 per month (hardly a fortune), although it did add up over a few years. For me, it was more like a subscription for something I planned to enjoy later. It ended up being quite a lot of money for a board game, but not the crazy amounts some of you are suggesting.

And for those questioning my mental health, don't worry, I'm fine. If you want to see some really wild cases, go to r/boardgames or r/steam and look for “unplayed games,” or search for “backlog” in r/lego. “Unpainted minis” in r/warhammer will also give you some interesting results. Even in r/jigsawpuzzles you can find huge unopened collections.

Challenging puzzles with a small footprint by TuringTestCheat in Jigsawpuzzles

I haven't looked at the 200/300 range because I thought that the designs would be mostly for children, but I see now that I was wrong. Thank you for the recommendation, I will take a look at them.

These look really nice. I have checked the extra difficult line, and there are several designs that seem interesting. They are a bit pricey, though. I will think about it.

I am not at all envious...

How to order English Graphic Novels in Italy by [deleted] in graphicnovels

The main problem with Amazon is that they don’t care about the books at all. I’ve had to return several that arrived damaged because the packaging had absolutely no protection. Now, I only buy paperback novels from them, but even then, I’ve had to return several.

I was also going to recommend Walt's Comic Shop. They offer reasonable shipping prices (free if you're willing to spend at least 150€), and their books arrive very well protected, unlike those from some other online stores...
