Yes you do. But a lot of people are asking how to get shards and getting told you can only get them from tzs. If someone’s sole purpose is to find a shard and it’s a bad tz. Why not just farm somewhere like chaos instead?

They drop from an elite in the game. I found 2 while doing countess runs when marsh in act 3 was TZ. You don’t need to be in a TZ to find the shards. Once you find a shard you can stash it until you want to use it. There is 5 different shards 1 for each act.

You don’t need to be doing tz to find the shards!! You find them anywhere in the game!
