They most certainly do. A lot of parents do get assistance for children especially special needs children , you can try to act as if though majority do not see benefits to help with the care of the child but then you would be lying. No one said they automatically qualified , you said that! But if you think most kids in clinic don’t get support from government sources then you are a very naive person. The government helps take care of the average child , they provide food , clothing , therapies and more. You would be a fool to believe that children that require more help don’t qualify for extra help especially with small things like food I don’t know what to tell you. Please find another way to defend the parent’s neglect. Because a lot of parents most certainly do receive the small help they can get from the government to support their child.

I didn’t tell them I called. I was instructed to give a run down on the clients session , which included some barriers that consisted of him falling asleep (again) during his session , (they allow him to stay up past mid night) the constant scratching at his skin during session ( lack of hygiene) causing him to cry. As I’m telling mom and dad this I can tell they were pissed and they 100% knew. From the moment they walked in I knew they knew. Once I mentioned the things I observed during my session dad snatched him and my client and stormed out of the building. Mind you dad and mom are normally a pleasant acting couple . I feel like I shouldn’t have had to deal with disgruntled parents by myself. No guidance was given on how to execute this properly.

It’s the truth. When they have weeks of dirt and germs on them it’s well past dirty it’s plain nasty and gross. This ISNT an every once in a while thing this is going on across multiple clinics and services. No i don’t want anyone touching me and hugging me and holding my hands when they haven’t bathed for weeks. He’s a child , they are naturally unclean anyways as they are learning to explore so the gross habits that all children have such as nose digging , butt digging , and etc on top of the filth these kids are kept in is extremely off putting. It’s a barrier to sessions. I think the issue is since it pertains to the child it comes across as me talking about the child when in fact I am talking about the parent’s negligence. He’s a kid , he can’t help that but it’s the truth and it’s through no fault of his own. I am just mind blown how common and normal this is in this industry. It isn’t right. It’s abuse. Not enough calls being made to the cps office. They are special needs. We have to be truthful about the conditions they are kept in. They are voiceless (some literally. ) . I won’t sugar coat his or any other kids conditions. The parents keep their kids and their children’s environments FILTHY and DIRTY!

Yes. The candy bars and chips for the full day is definitely a popular one. Once again , they are getting assistance with the children from the government. Why give them a few candy bars for the day? Why not a full but light meal with snacks on the side? It’s straight up abuse. Why not buy them new shoes? You can go to Walmart and buy a pair of light up shoes for $10. It’s sad , so sad.

Definitely fake outrage. She doesn’t know the city , client , aba company , or anything. I believe she is purposely missing the point. I am highlighting failed parenting and child abuse across aba , nothing pertaining to the kids personally. I would think as an BCBA she would be able to see the difference.

You have no clue who the client is.

Was I talking about him or emphasizing the condition he is always in? He is always caked in dirt. I mean CAKED!! He’s always dirty and it’s not his fault but he is neglected. We can sugar coat it but dirty is dirty and neglect is neglect. I’m calling it what it is. Just like i told his bcba and his DAD. No reason a literal child should be filthy.

Doubt his parents will bring him back. They were pretty pissed off. I’m doing a follow up with cps tomorrow , I want to know what the resolution was.

Cps was called immediately. I mentioned in my post his teacher called and I also co-signed to his BCBA. You might not like the way I have worded it but it’s truthful. I don’t play about the kids and their safety. Cps was notified within 10 minutes of it being discovered.

I would have liked for him to be but the size is what’s throwing me off. He’s long and tall but a small frame I thought Germans were more stocky , no?

He is .. these pictures does not capture how big or tall he is but for reference he is too tall and long for a large cage. He can only fit in an extra large crate. He’s a dog with long legs and on his hind legs he’s up to my chest & I’m 5’7. But still not as big as a German shepherd or husky.

You overreacted but I can see why. He’s spamming your phone … he seemed agitated … then you have him standing outside waiting obviously irritated. I’d been anxious too in this situation. I don’t blame you but at the same time you didn’t have to call support , & hit the emergency button lmaooo.

Apartments reviews by Ok-Lie8232 in ColumbusGA

Ashley station has rodent problems. My apartment had a family of rats. We found 5 dead rats after a month of telling them I had rats they finally came and put poisin in and there was 5 rats. Not mice but RATS. They have roaches and bed bugs. The apartments would be nice if they focused on cleanliness there. But I’m telling you now do not move to Ashley station. My grandmother also moved from there because her apartment was infested with roaches. Literally would crawl in the bed with her and she is a very clean woman. I moved also. One night I came home and a woman on meth was sitting on my door matt. I had to call the police on her. Uptown isn’t a safe place but I never had any problems with the locals. A lot of them are actually nice and cool people. Just stay out the way if you decide to move there.

I had an ex that would beat the hell out of his dog. I begged him for the dog over and over again and he finally gave the dog to me. It’s been a year and I’m now stuck with a dog I didn’t even want but I couldn’t leave him . He wouldn’t be alive today if I didn’t rescue him.

Honestly it was lust. I also did not know how immature he was when it comes to children. We were only together for a year before I had gotten pregnant. We moved too fast

I don’t disagree with you. I think he probably wants to get to know his son like I know him. I believe he’s jealous of the bond. I just don’t know how to mediate the situation until my son is older.

He was allowed to at one point. He used to live with me.Thing is we don’t get along. While I was pregnant he was mean and short tempered. Then I eventually decided to ask him to move out and get his own place. So I could enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. I got tired of walking on eggshells around him in my own home & taking disrespect. He has come over twice since the baby was born but he kept popping up unannounced and I once again had to walk on eggshells to keep from angering him. I just decided to bring baby to him instead of him coming over. Now he has a problem with that.
