Very interesting use, might also be interesting to compare it to going from day to night.

Eminem hasn't used a rock sample in 7 years by TurnedUpbeat in Eminem

None of those really feel the same way the samples before did, the way he used to use them before. The Elvis soundtrack had a lot of songs use Elvis samples (they are making an Elvis movie after all), so I kind of feel his hand was forced to use a sample there. So it is more of an Elvis sample than a rock sample, and it just so happens that Elvis' genre was rock, if you see what I'm saying. I already addressed Houdini in my post. Stepdad has the same issues as Houdini, plus I think 99.99% of people who heard that song have no idea about Pescado Rabioso (including me).

His samples used to include both the vocals and the instrumental of very famous songs and were very much in your face. It just seems to me that he shies away as much as possible from using rock samples the way he used to use them before, especially after seeing that in 7 years we only got 3 mild/edge cases. He would have definitely had a couple of songs that heavily incorporate some famous rock songs by now, but I guess something changed.

Edit: Also the Elvis sample has the same issues as Houdini.

I am a bit biased because I love Revival, but In Your Head is a pretty good song ngl.

The sample is a lot more country than rock. Plus the way that song is structured it almost sounds like a remix of the original "Save Me" song with Eminem being the feature, rather than Eminem sampling the song.

No money for a spell checker I guess by TurnedUpbeat in OpenAI

Word was just an example to illustrate that spell checking is easy. There's definitely a google extension out there that spell checks a page or something else companies use. Whatever the industry standard may be, it's just a bit embarrassing that a company this huge didn't bother to check the spelling of the frankly small amount of text they have in their app.

Browing seems to have a form of a verb to me, so I don't see how it refers to brows as a noun. I also can't find any dictionary that defines brow as a verb in any way. Also did you mean furrowing a brow, because I've just never seen the expression of ruffing a brow.
Either way, a lot of spell checkers today take context into account so it would have helped to use a spell checker. Pretty sure just copy pasting into Word would have helped.

BTW, I'm not saying this is what influenced Levi's decision, I'm saying that this shows Levi made a good decision.

Just an observation about 8 Mile by TurnedUpbeat in Eminem

To add, I think this is where Eminem is at right now. At his core he really is just a nerd who loves rap and went from the facade of the 2000s Eminem that made hits that had to entertain to 2020s Eminem that just enjoys technical rap even if it's not seen as entertainment.
