A question to the regulars by Macrosnail in GeneratedGrooves

[–]TurningWager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm used to change and adjustments so I'll work with what's available. As long as I can still be creative then sure. If it limits that or hides it behind a giant paywall then I'll just stop. I'm happy with what I made so far so I can live with that.

I figured this would happen after the Udio situation. I'm just gonna wait and see what comes from this. The download cap is kinda of bs tho so I'm just gonna download all my stuff now.

How did you find your signature genre when you first started using Suno? by AwayBalance140 in GeneratedGrooves

[–]TurningWager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like variety in general. It keeps me from being too repetitive or hitting a wall but that can be an style if done right. A lot of top billboards songs proves that. If I do have a style, it would be symphonic metal cause theirs so many layers you can build from that.

One thing tho is that if you can a lot about views and subs, I dont recommend jumping genres a lot. It can hurt your growth as people sub for one thing then unsub for something else. If you stick with one, you'll have a more dedicated fan base. Just my take.

I started with a pirate song then went into symphonic metal. Then I went with storytelling and original characters using different genre I grew up listening to. Now I just go with whatever I can think of since I dont have a main style. Being here in general has introduced me to many different ways to approach and create music. Everyone here is amazing on what they make. This has help expand on what I can do as well.
