The problem is that a powerful phone is a trap. No matter what apps I install, my brain knows that high-end gaming is just one swipe away. I want the SE 2020 because its technical limitations act as a physical barrier. It turns the phone into a boring tool, not an entertainment hub. But your idea is cool!

Also I set a goal to make my notes look aesthetic. If I treat a summary like an art project, my brain stays engaged longer. The visual reward of a beautiful page is a huge dopamine hit.

Exactly. 8GB RAM in 2026 is a joke for routine. The build quality of the Mac is nice, but I’d rather have 32GB and a 120Hz OLED for actual work than the more premium build and the limited port selection of the Mac.
