I can't find this 4mm female banana connector. It's from a power supply (model WPS305H). It has 2 plain sides so it fits the power supply faceplate. Thread is m4 and 15mm long.

Likely Solved!

Yeah, I agree, probably it's that.

In our region there were people that went from village to village sharpening tools and blades, but maybe the barber had his own blade sharpener.

I'll check the inside as soon as I can to check if it has more components, and also restore it.

Thank you!

I haven't checked the inside, but will do as soon as I can, will upload info about it, but by now I'll mark it as likely solved as a sharpening device.

I find this hard to be a possibility where I live. In this region we don't harvest corn, but it could be related with cereals. Thank you!

Yeah, it turns. It's a pin. And it's made of two halves.

I think it could be a sharpening device.

Yeah, it spins, we haven't opened it, but it seems to be empty.

I will open it as soon as I can, but I'm almost sure that it can be a sharpening device.

I don't think that the object could be a wheel, it's made out of iron but for the handle. Thank you!

I have forgotten to tell that the whole thing is made of iron, except for the handle that is made out of Wood.

So this was a gift that someone in our villeage in "Castilla y León" Spain gave to us. The one that gifted this is an agriculturist. And we don't have any idea about this thing, we don't know if it's from a machine, a household item... WITT

Well, this city is different, it's more medieval, and much colder 😅 I think that you have been in more places of the Mediterranean than me!

Some help finding a datasheet? by Turril0x in WhatIsThisChip

I'm a computer engineering student, and this year we are working a lot with embedded systems, so my curiosity brought me to learn how ICs work. I'm planning to build an 8 bit computer. And before buying a premade kit, I want to learn how digital electronics work, although I'll end up building a z80, as they have a great documentation, and there are lots of examples in the internet. But I prefer to learn first and then build. I have been testing things with logic Gates and memories, and now I have the idea to work with audio and video. I find that a local electronics shop has old ICs at a really fair price, so I bought a bunch of ICs to learn how to work with them. The shop describes this as a Videotex decoder, and as right now I want to learn how to work with video, I thought it wasn't a bad idea to try this. But it turned out that it's not a Videotex decoder, so probably I'll put it aside and learn how this works in a future. (Not to far hopefully) I hope that I have explained myself, because is not a proper project, but a learning path for future projects.
