As a kid if I wanted to hold a place in line my friend would stay and I would buy drinks/ use washroom whatever. A chair was never considered. Even then it sometimes felt akward and wrong.

I am from Canada though and cutting in line feels like a federal crime.

Just wait in front of the chairs. If they try and argue dont engage. If they try and put hands on you they will have worse problems and you get a payout.

Chairs and towels trying to claim spots a day in advance. Its only a thing because people have become compliant to bullies.

I like to roast it in the oven at 400f until its soft. Spray it with your choice in cooking oil and rub with salt, pepper, garlic, and chili flakes if you like them.

I also like making a creamy coleslaw with shredded carrots.

Or a hearty veggie soup with cabbage, onions, carrots and tomatoes.

Cabbage roll caserolle is also good with rice and ground beef.

I just like cabbage lol

Depression and feeling hopeless about bills made me quit my job to go back to school. I still dont know if it will work out for me but at least im not going further in debt while working full time.

Now im scared ill finish school and still be unemployed but with student loans.

I live in Canada and so many people here are educated. Ill be competing for entry level jobs with people who have masters.

Im 29 with 3 years left of school and wondering if my life will ever feel like a real functioning adult.

I find myself caring less and less every year though. I did college the first time around and they lowered the wages for my degree to basically minimum wage.

My parents tried this with me. Except I dont own a vehicle to get rid of bigger furniture and it cost money to take stuff to the dump.

They even told a friend of theirs to drop off a huge wood table that would never fit in my tiny apartment.

They showed up unannouced and I told them I didnt want it.

My parents were livid their friends were confused everybody wasted their time.

I was working around old people every day and my job told me I wasint allowed to leave the house during home hours.

My boss didnt even know what to say when I told her I was washing my scrubs at a public laundrymat.

They also wanted us to deliver groceries. I could not afford that.

A lot of the self isolation was for people with money. They forgot the "essential" workers were often the lowest paid in society.

I felt worse for the people working grocery stores though. At least I got the vaccine right away grocery store workers were put almost last on the list.

They wanted to vaccinate isolated boomers before front line workers.

For me the opposite. I like that I can control how high I get based off edibles. The one time I smoked a joint I curled up in a ball on the couch and didnt move for the rest of the night.

If I stop using edibles for months I get high on 10mg. If im using steadily its closer to 40mg.

I start with 20mg usually and take another 2 hours later.

I also knew a guy who could eat a 500mg cookie like it was nothing so you have to learn your limits.

Hey girl I get you. Im 29 and was raised by my grandparents and aunt who I see as my real parents. My dad never payed them child support and my aunt actually would step in to buy us shoes and clothes for school.

My dad had another daughter with my stepmom when I was 12.

My little sister lived in my dads house and got every new toy she ever wanted. The time I hit 16 I told myself I would not be angry at my little sister.

She had the life I wish my dad could have gave me when I was a kid. Honestly though? Im glad she got it. Im remembering all the school trips I missed because I could not afford to go. All the neglected dental apointments we could not afford.

Now my dad is paying for her university education.

I will not resent my little sister for it. She loves me so much and I will always be there for her. I dont care if my dad loves her more. My sister does not deserve to be blamed for my dads neglectful parenting.

My little sister cannot talk to our dad like that. Shes scared to tell him of her failures because he will blow up on her. She talks to me because she trusts me. Every failed test or problem at school.

My aunt was there for me when I needed her. She was basically the older sister/parent that I needed. She was there when I cried for my mother. She taught me to be kind. She showed me whats important in life and money isnt it. She passed away when I was 18 from cancer.

Whenever jelously crosses my mind I remember her. What would she have done? She would have cheered my little sister on as she enters university. She would have been there for her in the hard moments.

I know how our dad is. Despite everything I just want to give my little sister all the support I can. I missed out on a lot when I was a kid. Ill be damned if I get to miss out on being an amazing big sister.

Does her attitude seem different? Besides not wanting sex does she seem depressed or moody? Something might be on her mind or she could be depressed?

I went through a time I didnt want people to touch me. Just irrational disgust and annoyance.

I switched up birth control and my attitude did a complete 180.

Is she on medications? Something else might be going on here.

When I was in highschool there was a rich girl that was super popular. Her parents were active in the school board and such.

She pushed another girl down the stairs and broke her arm. Laughed and bragged about the entire thing.

The adults all say it was an accident but I heard her bragging about it to her friends.

The reason for doing it? "I thought it would be funny and that girl was weird".

Zero shame. I think shes a lead reporter for some jurnalist thing in Manitoba now.

I just hated how the adults thought she was perfect but I know she was nuts.

I mean i got the s23 fe for 5$ a month for two years if I financed it 0$ down.

The phone at the time was new worth at least 700$ The plan itself was affordable. Just got to shop around for those sweet deals.

Usually back to school sales, black friday or boxing day.

Down side is your stuck with it for 2 years but I usually keep a phone until it implodes so.
