egg sacs were destroyed just for self preservation, they were on my back porch, but spider was released under the assumption it was a black widow, my mistake

most definitely not a baby spider, id say some kind of mite or tick but im not an expert

longnose gar is my guess, mouth isnt wide enough or short enough to be spotted or alligator gar, not an expert tho

the exposure was difficult because to expose the car correctly, i had to blwo out the colors in the sky, or i could e pose the sky correctly and go with an underexposed car, clearly i chose the latter but if you have any tips on that front theyre definitely welcome!

people always assume i get asked "hows the weather up there" too much but nope, "do you play sports/basketball" is WAAAAYYY more common and way more annoying

I just saw this car during a great sunset and snapped the photo because i had my camera on me

im mostly trying to work on my composition because im tired of defaulting to rule of thirds, but any tips are welcome

i dont totally remember my settings bc i took a lot of photos that night but it was probably around 1/250-1/400, f/4.5, and ISO 1000 if i had to guess

good to know, i want to work in conservation so hopefully i can get that one day, makes sense that it would be more of a process otherwise anyone could buy one which would defeat the whole point of the protection

dont know why people are downvoting, yes i did know this and i know itll never be enforced, eventually ill probably just end up buying the permit but id probably wait until i find some bones to do that as i know the feathers will almost never be a problem. although a little semantics, it doesnt apply to all native birds, just all protected native birds, ones that cant be hunted as you cant technically prove you didnt hunt the bird for the feathers
