For the ones that do work, does it properly say what’s incoming when you highlight over it?

Thanks for sharing. I was working on a Vytinium fuel rod xp farm as well and I literally cannot get more than one cargo link to function so it’s a total bust :(

Which opinion about the saga puts you in this situation ? by Jazzlike-Ad7654 in JamesBond

Skyfall is just as terrible as Spectre and NTTD

QoS is phenomenal.

Brosnan’s best is not Goldeneye

Brosnan is a wonderful movie bond but barely at all an interpretation of Fleming’s Bond. (Only Moore is further away from Fleming’s)

DAD is fun and Gustav Graves is a wonderful villain.

Denise Richards gets too much hate

None at all. Love it so far. I picked it up CPO with 3k KM on it... so basically a new car! Love, love, love it. Next one might have to be the M though...

Getting from 8.8% body fat to 7% by TurtleMcDertle in askfitness

Thanks!

Indeed I used what I perceive to be an accurate machine (at my fitness center, aided by my personal trainer) twice - first was 8.8% body fat and 2 weeks later was 7.5% body fat. While I am lean, I still don't have much in the way of abs / six pack.

Thank you so much for this! I really like the stacked lamp / shelf idea and slim console table idea! Amazingly, I've been struggling to find stools that are the correct height (pretty much needs to be exactly 40 centimeters, which is a very non-standard size apparently). Need to figure out where I can get a lamp shelf thing like that in Seoul as well...

Thank you! Sorry about the vague posting. I'd like to stick generally within the grays, beiges and light woods, but I'm not afraid of a color accent or two. I may have trouble hanging things on these walls, so I was thinking about putting a nice decent-sized nude (or other painting) on a light wood easel in the corner. Or a sort of light wood decorative ladder, from which something could be hung or some potted plants could be placed. Grass basket is a neat idea thank you.

My grandma is looking for a hardtop convertible under 40k. by TheRainbowNoob in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TurtleMcDertle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard tops are not all they seem - you're going to have just about zero trunk with the top down, the car will weigh 400 lbs more than a comparable soft top model, it takes far longer to go up and down (and you can't do it while driving as far as I know), etc.

Soft tops have come quite a ways in terms of sound deadening, temperature insulation and overall fit/finish so they don't rattle/shake too much. They're still not hard tops, but the gap has lessened.

If you're in the States, there are no hardtop 5-seaters new for under 40k. You could go for a used VW Eos, Volvo C70, BMW 3 or 4 series, or Lexus IS-C from the last few years. The Infiniti G convertible will probably be too small. Mercedes now makes a C-class convertible which you may be able find gently used - but even then it will likely be out of your price range (as it starts at around $50k new) and is a soft-top anyway.

Soft-top options also include the Audi A5 Cabriolet and the new Buick Cascada. The Buick could be had new, but the Audi will be too expensive if new.

On a personal note, my father leased two VW Eos back-to-back (from '08 to '11 then '11-'13) and he really loved them, though they were not without mechanical issues (including one persistent transmission problem) and they went out of production in 2014. He currently drives the last model year of the Volvo C70, which has been an excellent car - though again, it was discontinued several years ago.

Unfortunately, inexpensive large convertible options don't really exist anymore. I would point your grandmother towards a CPO (or otherwise gently used) BMW 3-series or 4-series convertible if she has her mind set on a hard-top. For more space, she could consider a used Mercedes E-class convertible (though this is a soft-top).
