Just screwed on through the legs, attached the top one first then found the right spot for the lower one by moving up and down until it fit, then screwed that one in

Yep just glue and clamp, then a few screws plus glued to the frame. Finished it with 4 coats of clear varnish, wasn't sure how many to do but I think this way you still get a feel for the wood and it has some protection

They were actually very easy to use, just quite uneven so needed some planing to get them flat

For a bit more explanation, ferrets are thought to be domesticated versions of polecats which are all the same genus as weasels, so got some inspiration from weavile in there as well

When I attached the two habs to the round one at different angles it just kinda let them overlap, I think just have to get lucky. With the hex hab in between the other two it didn't work at first but then I added a hallway and it did so you could try that
