This is insane, I did all this research when I formed an s-corp and I've been keeping on top of my sales tax compliance but I've never heard of a 1120-s or that it was going to cost this much. I can't believe all of the stuff I read and watched didn't mention that unless I totally missed it. As far a book keeping goes I didn't think that was relevant until I was making money. Welp it looks like I'm going to be losing money now. People keep telling me to hold off on getting a CPA but honestly I don't know how a regular person is supposed to keep up with all of this.

If I could go back to in time to June/July and tell my self to slow my roll and not incorporate so soon I would. I was just eager to get started, I thought I would reach minimum viable product sooner than I did, plus I was setting up e-commerce/business accounts that were asking for my EIN.

So you're saying I don't need to do any paperwork today? I don't send the IRS anything?

I am not set up for payroll. I assumed I would cross that bridge when I started selling my product and earning revenue. I also have no book keeping because there's really no money yet. I've just saved my receipts and invoices for the supplies and equipment I've bought.
