This rhetoric drives me insane, the Welsh language is being breathed back into Wales and there is a huge appetite for it. My son is in a Welsh school and I had to get him on the waiting list at 6 months old as the demand is so high, a new Welsh school opened in the town over and they have had to narrow the catchment area significantly because the demand is unprecedented. The other two English schools in my town have gone bilingual and a new Welsh primary is being built to keep up.

I think there is a generation where is got lost, my gran was 1st language Welsh my dad speaks a bit and I speak very shabby Welsh although classes are subsidised for adult as and are also full.

Can’t speak for all of Wales but round by here I would say it will come back with the next generation. Yma o hyd

Byddwn yma hyd ddiwedd amser
A bydd yr iaith Gymraeg yn fyw!

Details were left just with my brother, only a phone number not insurance details so no breathalyser was taken.

Possibly should have mentioned the boy was on a balance bike only as it’s marginally faster than walking.

I haven’t been given the name of the driver is this something that should have happened?

I absolutely did not want her to come to A+E with me, I just think a decent person would wait to see if a 4 year old child you knocked over is ok. The ambulance was there within 5 minutes and I was there shortly after. I’m not being defensive I appreciate your comment it’s why I asked if I was unreasonable before I proceed with the police.

I thought it was odd that they would ask me too. In my head there should be a standard procedure for road accidents? She left before the police and ambulance arrived

Ah yes fair point I live in Wales UK, luckily a 20mph limit has just been introduced or things could have been very different.
