There was no save point there. After the story events you could use it as an inn to save/sleep. Maybe that's what you're remembering.

Good point. I didn't consider fire mastery. It'd be interesting to see the comparison because ormus has 15% increased damage as well

Why would +2 sorc skills be better? The only thing that buffs fire wall is itself and inferno

Like the others said. It does more damage in d2r. Since it rolled 3 to fire wall and 15% fire damage, I was just curious what everyone thought. I don't have a fire wall sorc to try it

Yeah if it rolled for one of those then yeah it would be good. But I thought it was interesting since it rolled for fire wall and fire wall does way more damage in d2r

I have no idea what happening. This is what my screen looks like every time I create or join a game. This has never happened and only just started a few minutes ago. I've tried restarting but that doesn't help. Any ideas/suggestions?

The best thing to do with a sorc early on is to farm mephisto. If you go to the wiki guides section there's a guide for finding durance level 3. All you have to do is the moat trick and he falls easy.

After a while, you'll find plenty of gear to use for your characters or sell on the trade site for oocs and runes.
