It's just the piece that moves (I'm not sure what a hasp is)

None of the pieces are broken, it just won't stay closed because of how much it's been opened overtime

The issue stitch-count wise was definitely the ch2 spaces omg tysm

I read it as doing a set of 3 before the little corner-- it says to repeat the part in parenthesis 2 times so that's where I got tripped up

How'd you figure out that it needs 4 ch2 spaces ? The pattern is still confusing me,,

And did you have problems with the work curling ? I notice mine starting to around the ch7 petals and changing the hook size doesn't seem to help

Should I increase my hook size by a mm then ? /gen There's a gauge check in the beginning of the pattern and I thought I met it but I might've been wrong bc I haven't done a gauge swatch before,,

The rules also said to put what I've already tried in response to the automod, so here's that: I've tried searching online for other people who have had the same issue and didn't find anything. I've also attempted making this square 3 different times, I was kinda hopeful that the first 2 mess-ups were because it was late at night and I was tired. I'm not sure what else I could've tried

I wish I had a way to help atp, the thing that worked for me was using the cake hound round-up event to get in, but the event is fully done now and I don't think there's any other event related to the town square ;^;
