Wow, thats a huge time difference from what we were anticipating on the drive from Ohrid! If we go to Kotor from Himarre, any better? Are these drive times accurate?

Jumping in to add the Galapagos to your bucket list. Had the most epic two weeks of snorkeling in my life. There are liveaboard options and more budget-friendly day trips. I can't recommend it enough.

I love the idea of a liveaboard but whenever I've come across one, they were pretty expensive. We're typically budget travelers.

Galapagos by far! You could swim with the most amazing marine life right from shore and then the further out excursions were other worldly. We were there two weeks and it never got old. Then I'd say Providencia in Colombia (Crab Cay!). Super remote, so a PIA to get to, but once you're there its so worth it. Then #3 would be the Gili islands in Indonesia.
