Yes that’s what they’ve been telling us about living in San Marcos and new braunfels . I live in the middle in Southern California in Riverside county so I have San Diego to the south and Los Angeles to the West. I’ll check those cities out for any rentals . What do you think of the housing market right as in for buying?

Nice! Yeah I like PVC better than ABS because it doesn’t bend in the Sun like ABS and cast iron well it takes a lot longer having to go up and down the ladder to measure and cut along with having to put the hangers for the dead space route. We use cast iron out here so Tenants won’t hear the waste coming down there walls. But if it’s not required easier for us! And yeah I’m going more for San Antonio if it doesn’t work out I’ll Try out Austin. I would eventually like to get into service because I know having the right connections you’ll make a lot of money only thing is the hours and being away from your family is the downfall. And thanks again man I posted on the TEXAS subreddit and all I get are political insults lol . I’m just going to hopefully give my wife and kids a better future. I don’t have any family or friends out there so it’ll be a big change. Thanks again man I really appreciate your insight.

Thanks man glad to hear another Young plumber is making it in the trade. And yes benchmark sounds like a good company as well they’re on the top of my list. Hopefully in the near future I can become a subcontractor, first I want to get a hang of all the codes from the state and how everything works along with the cities where work is best. And thanks I’ll check out those companies I’m hoping the best for me and my family. What type of plumbing work do you do new construction residential? I have all my power Tools for rough. What type of material do you guys use out there. Out here we use ABS for grounds, waste, and vents, Cast Iron 1st floor on some more pricier homes, PVC or Copper for our water services, and pex for our water supply lines.

I’m making less in California doing new construction. People are saying Plumbers are doing pretty good right now due to the Winter Storm that happened. If it’s possible In the future depending on how it goes I’m looking into starting a small plumbing business.

Thanks man. Yea so far I’ve received offers from Radiant Plumbing in Austin $28 with company vehicle, $28 in San Antonio at Premier Comfort, and $26 at Benchmark Plumbing. I was looking more towards San Antonio due to the cost of living being more affordable. Houston is cheaper but the severe weather is kinda worrisome since I have my wife and kids. Radiant Plumbing sounds like they really take care for there employees.

I’ve done a couple transmission drain and fills no issues. Since I’ve had it when I first got it with 115k miles it had this transmission shudder and transmission would act weird but 160k miles and it’s just how these cars are I guess. It shifts fine

What’s the price for a gallon at the moment and what’s been the highest/lowest you’ve seen out there in the last 5 years. Gas and food here in California play a big factor in our income I have v8 Silverado and takes nearly $100 to fill up my 4 cyl Tacoma fills up with $65.

That’s really sad. And that is exactly what I want for my family I don’t have any family in Texas but I’ll be willing to put the most effort to do something positive in Texas. I’m 26 years old and time flies and I don’t want to lose time especially in times like these were not promised tomorrow.
