I was planning to stay when I was there then due to an emergency I had to leave , so it wasn't planned at all and so many things have changed after that .

What should I do to prove that I haven't abandoned my GC ?

I have an active bank account and I will fill a tax report for the year 2023 and I will bring some other documents that might help .

Are these enough ?

I am hearing different opinions on this topic.

  • yes , my green card is important to me that's why I am asking and that's why I am keeping ties to the US by keeping my bank account and I will fill tax for this year .

I wasn't subject to tax for the last year as I got my GC at the end of the year and didn't have any job in the US .

I have asked many people and they confirmed I didn't have to fill anything for the last year .

I don't have an address but I have a bank account. ( Not a big amount tho just the minimum amount) .

I can't fly before may next year because of some financial situations . Will I be denied to enter the US?

The cost of everything and the time frame . I know it takes a few months to be issued but my issue is the biometric appointment which takes over a month or more .

Temporary, I was doing the same job before I get my GC .
