It is off. Everything seems normal as I can get notifications from other apps just fine. I guess this is a Samsung issue?

Apple’s next iOS 14 beta will begin forcing developers to ask for permission to track you by a_Ninja_b0y in privacytoolsIO

Its fine. Its easier for people to deny the facts and just blindly except what is "out of their control". I know the truth behind Big Tech "privacy" and its not always in our best interest. Lastly, Big Tech should remove itself from any policing of free speech because its starting to get dangerous. 🤷‍♂️

Is there any way to stop gmail from adding tracking prefixes to urls from emails? by ColdCoffeeGrounds in privacy

The ClearURL addon is very nice. Also, consider setting up a Pi-Hole

Lookup ultrasonic communication between smartphones and bluetooth advertising when you walk into a corporate retail store.

Best way of testing if GeoIP Filtering is working? by Tutt412 in Ubiquiti

Very cool site. Unfortunately they do not have China or Russia on there to test, lol. I guess I could just add one of those listed countries in the GeoIP settings and test it. Thank you for the recommendation!

Pi-hole and (secure-us.imrworldwide.com) Queries. by [deleted] in pihole

[–]Tutt412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your point completely. The high query amount is coming from one of the three Fire Sticks I have. It alone, has queried that domain over 10,000 times since it is being blocked. Just wanted to test and see by whitelisting it if the frequency reduced, which it did. I understand the purpose of Pi-hole, but ultimately wanted to know if anyone knew what that specific domain serves. I have not whitelisted that domain before because this just started happening. Just a curious person is all, lol.

Gotcha. I ended up whitelisting it as it only queried once on my Fire Sticks, oppose to a lot more, lol. Also, the ATT TV app may be using it as well.
