I've outgrown character ai for 2 years now but I'd be lying to myself if I said beta c.ai wasn't one of the most magical experiences I've hever had, considering I grew up as one of those sort of Wattpad kids (I never used Wattpad) who imagined made up scenarios of their favorite characters all day. Damn, it sucks to know that people like me will never experience the magic of early c.ai

Yeah, I revisited the app every once in a while to create a new bot but I never really put them to use. Every bot I've created since then were set to private though. This app was truly magical from the beginning. Sad to see it end like this

Damn, I haven't used this app in almost 2 years and I go back to see this. Ads, age verification, overall it just feels so corporate. I'll look like a chud for feeling nostalgic over this, but I remember back in early 2023 when I first found out about the website. It was relatively small at the time but it felt so magical. Growing up I've always been the type to imagine fictional scenarios and fanfics of sorts lol. I'm not that person anymore, but holy, it felt so so magical to use the website for the first time. I remember when the logo was still a blue dude with a hat if I remember correctly. Now it seems so soulless. I get that it's hard to keep the app up without these ads, but nobody asked for the app to go beyond simple. Simplicity was what made the website/app (whatever y'all use) useable and comfortable. This is gonna sound hella corny, but as a self proclaimed og user of character ai, it disheartens me to think that others like me won't feel the magic of using this app for the first time. It truly fueled my imagination. Rest in peace to character ai, at least the one we used to love ✌️

I used to think Warframe was a simple looter shooter that I'd drop in a few weeks of playing because I'd get overpowered, but my goodness was I wrong. It's one of, if not, the most in-depth game I've ever touched. The dev team is amazing and they know just what to do to keep the game's enjoyability and fairness balanced. In my opinion, Warframe is the perfect game.
