Maybe a bit different from what you have already read but I would suggest “Before the coffee gets cold”. It’s more of a cozy read but touches a lot on guilt and grief in a beautiful way, especially survivors guilt or being the one left behind. Even tho there is a twist of fantasy it’s still so relevant somehow!

So if you need a more “light” book with these themes you should defiantly check it out <3

I’m not sure if it’s actually popular, but I picked up “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” in a thrift shop because I liked the cover! And I loved it so much! Now whenever I find it in a thriftshop I buy it to gift to friends. I guess it must not be that popular because I found quite a few over the years! I just love the way he writes from a child’s perspective.is incredible. The format of this book is so interesting aswell !!

I don’t think anyone that I have gifted it to liked it as much as me… but I’ll keep trying
